Definately! Less than 12 weeks to go!
Welcome, Pop (aka DFIL)! Glad to see you finally step forward and proclaim your existence. Does this mean I should stop posting on your behalf now?
.....card game "Hand & Foot." Which we renamed "Crack" because it became so addictive over the course of our vacation!![]()
Well it depends. You are ever so gracious and empirically proficient as our family travel/tour director with a stellar proven record. Without your diligence and attention to detail DS and I would be awash in confusion and indecision; at sea without a paddle as it were, not even MAGIC or a profound amount of scotch would save us.
Carry on dear DDIL, oh does this make you a DDDIL perhaps not, all the Ds make it appear indecisive. Ill pop in now and again but you are carrying our banner with honor, dignity and courage.
Hmm a tune is reverberating around in my empty brain casing:....
What the Cpt is leaving out was that by the end of the cruise, many more people than DIS-er's were saying that too. The Cpt would enter the dining room and bellow it out - and from all ends of the room, you would hear the response. Regular Cruisers would look at us like what the heck? But you know they were thinking what am I missing. Especially on
night. BTW, get your pictures early as you will not be able to get near him for a while. Its not nice when the grown-ups beat out the little kids just to get near him.

Sung to the tune of Carry on my Wayward Son by Kansas
Carry on my Disney Daughter-in-law
You'll have Palos brunch when you are done
You can lay your weary head to rest on Mickeys pillow
That jelly fish wont adhere to Chris bum.
On a stormy sea of changing tours
Tossed about like a ship on the ocean gray
You set a course for winds of fortune
And I hear the family say (especially DS)
Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the Disney splendor
The center lights around your choices
But surely Magic waits for you
My deepest apologies to Kansas
This does not bode well. Now I'm. NOTE TO SELF: DO NOT TELL STEVE
I, for one, am glad you posted. Everything else is usually top notch and I would rather be informed so that I can take precautions than assume that DCL would be prepared. At least now I know that if something happens, it can be serious. For all I know, I might have waited, if something goes wrong and it might be too late. On our first visit to FL, my oldest DD (about 12) at the time, got so dehyrated after 1 week there, that upon entering Universal, she got sick but I didn't notice. 1 hr after getting in, we ended up in their clinic and were in there for 3 hrs. They finally recommended we go back to our hotel room and hyrdate her. I had no clue. We live in SoCal and she plays sports nothing like this had EVER happened to her. I felt bad but really, I didn't realize how bad she was until after the fact.
Also, we have been on board when there have been medical emergencies and other more drastic events. I guess I need to pay more attn to that and realize there's a reason they call for back-up. I must never forget CC and first PC cruise.

Crikey, that is a bit of a worry, a sudden onset, unusual pain in the leg especially after a flight would straight way scream "DVT" to any health professional I would have thought.![]()
Just a quick note to everyone who posted their thoughts about DD and the blood clot. We believe as does her physician that the clot was cause by taking Yaz. She is fine now with no restrictions.
All of us need to be diligent in our pursuit of quality health care. If you don't agree with a diagnosis get a second opinion. If you have an HMO, get the patient advocate involved. You would be surprised how much help you can get if you are persistent.
Just my thoughts...

With the kids on a plane, whatever works to keep the peace!
As you know I am looking at the 1st class sleeper too, I posted a message on the main board and didn't get any responses, Is that a good or bad sign?![]()
No need to apologize. That's great! Will you be doing karaoke?![]()
No, no talent or singing skills. It would be very discordant and make puppies and sea bats cringe and then run around wildly trying to escape the room not good in the confined space of a ship at sea!![]()
Second, reading about anniversaries and I suddenly realized......DH and I
will have been married 20 yrs on July 21st, (civilly) and 15 yrs by the church AND YES! I do make him celebrate both - means more present or candy for me.![]()

Congrats!!
Did they ever, I remember posting on the way to the port as did some other people, we asked the last one to post to "please leave the light on."
I do, I do!!
Sue? Ask DisneySweetie. She got really lucky (after having a horrible experience and missing her flight on the 2007 WBTA. She ended up in First Class and used a sleeper. PM her or maybe she'll catch this post. Pam? Sue needs your review!
Second that!!
Must of been late summer or early fall. Main Street by the carnation cafe?
That is what I thought as well.
I've been lucky enough to have done all PC's and the first time I came across a "large" DIS group was the 2005 WBPC. I was so intimidated by the size that I looked on from the edges. But when the WBPC came around, I was determined to have the same fun and so I just jumped in. I've never looked back again.
You said it perfectly!!
OK - this is just too weird. For future references, I would say, so SIL? show me what your wearing.![]()
Having friends who have Disney in common always makes for wonderful friendships. We met some families through the DIS Disneyland Paris forum about 5 years ago ... we then started our own small group and have been meeting up ever since. We have shared a wedding, two births ( one more impending ), milestone birthdays and have laughed and cried with each other through good times and bad times. Disney always gives you a really special bond.![]()
Now that would have been embarrassing to show up with the same dress as the mother of the groom! That's a bizarre number of coincidences, Noel. It's like your kindred spirits! So are you off to shop for a new dress or are you going to pull another one out of the closet?!
Just dropping a quick note to say goodbye for the next 10-14 days. The packing up has started with a bang. The garage sales are done. The bin is still in front of the house and I keep throwing more stuff into it. They're coming to collect that on Tuesday so gotta move, gotta move, gotta move!
All things working correctly our movers should be arriving next Saturday morning. We'll load their truck and then watch them drive away; hopefully we won't be too far behind them. Looking forward to a stop in Phoenix at a favorite restaurant over there; Barrio Cafe. From there on to Las Cruces, NM to visit a night with one of my brothers and his family and then on to someplace....not sure if it'll be Laredo, TX or McAllen, TX to cross the border to head to the new digs. We're HOPING that we'll be in San Miguel de Allende by either Thursday or Friday of the next week. The dogs know somethings up cuz we NEVER clean a house like this!
I'll try and catch up with y'all on the new installment - hopefully you won't be on No. 8 by then!
Oh, and if y'all decide to have another type of drink tasting, put us down for it!
Until we next check in with you, be well, be safe, and enjoy life.
Adios y hasta luego!
Michael
John and I have ordered two of them He read what the pilot said on the website and being a pilot himself, decided right then and there we should order them. If I fly between now and the cruise, I will post my thoughts.
By the way, my DH is quite frugal and for him to say order them sight unseen is quite telling.'
Just my thoughts....

It was the fact that a pilot designed them that really caught my eye... Please post if you get a chance to rty them out!
Cool. Will do that now then while I remember - and I've finally done the BA stuff as well as booking an extra case!
That's a great story!!![]()
11 weeks on Tuesday for us. Must book parking at Heathrow and the rest of the accommodation over in the US!!

Maybe we should get some of the guys on "DIS patrol" to be sure the kids get their pics first since Todd is one of "ours". What do you guys think?
Until we next check in with you, be well, be safe, and enjoy life.

This is the firstclass sleeper Paula (?) and I are looking at... http://www.1stclasssleeper.com/
It is a pillow that is supposed to make it easiert to get comfy and sleep in a coach sized airline seat.

Yep, we each booked an extra case too....a lot cheaper than doing it at the airport it seems!
We must also decide how we're getting to Heathrow.....coach or train or taxi.....![]()
