I called Len in tears when he came home for lunch and the little witch had taken herself home,
Lucky we live on the edge of the forest with no roads, bloomin beagles, who would have them? thats them on the leads for at least a month!

Sounds like my Isis - can't let her off leash ever - she's a Siberian Husky and born to run - she escaped once. Took son about 15 minutes to catch her and only because she stopped in front of Starbucks. We like to say she went out for a coffee run. :rotfl: Hey! Remember - this is my fruity dog that absolutely drools for strawberries, mango and chocolate.

re beagle, they are all the same, I met a beagle on a beach in Ca, I was petting it, I said to him "do you let her off the lead" he replied "hell no, last time I let her off highway patrol gave her a ride home" :rotfl2:

Well, at least you didn't charged for it....a friend has a husky and she's escaped so much that the locals have threatened if she gets out again that they will charge them to return her. :rotfl2:

Lyn, Leonard, get Len, Lenny and Les(can someone explain that to me?)
I am the only one that doesnt shorten it.:confused3
He does however get substitutes:laughing:

LOL - So does DH.

I got "It's a Girl!" balloons to welcome Daisy home. The blue star is in memory of her brother, Sidney, who we lost to a tragic accident on Sunday, June 13, 2010. He will always be a twinkle in our eyes and a star shining down upon us.

Princess Daisy is gorgeous. her.

Very pleased for you! Unfortunately I just got off the phone with them and they are not - at this time - giving the credit to us.

I told myself that I wasn't going to let this bother me, but....

Yes, I keep telling myself (and Marc!), life is still good.

I feel your pain. I am still arguing with the TA about the charges.

I don't know whats going on with mine. Called Disney they said I was not being charge the surcharge, and when I talk to my TA last week they said the surcharge was there and today it is not there, but my price did not change. She thinks it is a computer glitch. So who knows.

I just got off the phone with DCL and we are receiving a $224 shipboard credit for the fuel surcharge. I was offered a refund to my credit card or the shipboard credit. I just mentioned the fuel surcharge and the wonderful gentleman on the phone immediately gave me my options without me asking for the refund. It was definitely worth the call.

Very nice. I was not able to get the full credit, but I still came out ahead. But you got it all, good for you!

Ok I've read to page 100 so far only 14 more to go... :cool1:

Thanks for the link!!!! I would love to sail to Hawaii and Asia! And I would definitely book a repo cruise to Asia! The 2012 itinery should be announced later this year. Can't wait!!!

I watched the live stream of World of Color a couple of days ago, WOW! It looks fantastic, Have a wonderful time!

Thanks! We had a great time!

I have terrible news for our family to pass along; "I just lost Sidney", her Bichon Frise. We're just so devasted.

First off, thanks to everyone that speedily sent their shirt money! We are hoping to get everyone taken care of this week so Monday we can place the orders!!

You made me Laugh

I managed to add another one to the accountMoney sent Sue!!!

ps,my job sucks sometimes, lady just came up to see if it was her cat that was run over last night and it was:sad2:

Lynne, thanks and sorry my PM was too late!

Sorry to hear that you have to deliver news like that!

Wonder what films we will get on board:confused3

Toy story 3?

Anybody hear anything?

Havent' heard anything but I am hoping for TS3-3D as are the kids! Last year there was a premeir of a movie with Bruce Willis and he had a great time. I couldn't stay up until 12:01 (that alone may qualify me to be a Geiser in Training), Glenn was also too tired, so Stephen went alone. I wonder if we will get a premiere this trip?

Alas, when another large company acquired Princess and P&O (they shall remain nameless - but their initials are Carnival Cruise Line) things just didn't continue in the same vein.....

Ah, well, life is still good! (and we can still do Friends and Family cruises with Princess - gotta love a deal!)

This is just too funny! Thanks for not pointing fingers a thte company in question...

On that note - are we in the minority here? I would rather save for a DCL trip than take one of those that was not mentioned above... Tell me I am not a cruise snob... OK - LIE TO ME if you must... I prefer to think of it as high standards...

I am firm believe of being first in line or close to it on the premier of movies I want to see. We waited 6 hours in line when the latest Star Trek movie came out to see it on a 100 foot IMAX. I did the same thing with the kids growing up.

DH and I actually were on tv once when we were sitting in line for the premier of the first Harry Potter movie. We were sitting in our crazy creek chairs, I reading a fiction novel and Dh reading a non fiction novel. People around us were dressed up, acting franctic and we were just sitting there. They asked us why we did this and I said I just like to be NOEL FIRST!!

It is an inside joke with DH and I as that is what license plate used to read on my old car.

The only other cruise ship I would consider at this point is the World.

Sue, I sent your tee shirt $$. Many many thanks to you and Todd:)

I don't expect an issue. DS will only be 15, but he's already 6'2" and 225lbs so no one would suspect that he shouldn't be there. Besides he'll probably grow another 3 or 4 inches over the summer :rotfl:

I'm liable not to recognize Trevoy!!!! he's done some growing the last 2 years:)

Are you using a TA? I'm with Dreams, so I'm guessing DCL wouldn't even listen to the question, much less do something about it. :confused3

No we are not using a TA. Never have, I am too much of control freak when it comes to our vacations and I see no benefit. I would rather deal with DCL directly.

What was his name??? Didn't even give you a hard time? I will need to call him!!

Let me know when you find out. May I ask where you went and how much it cost?

In 2007 we did the same thing. We walked ou of the terminal and their were taxi (van) there to do a private tour. We took it to the rock. We saw the cave and went down in the tunnel and oh, yes ther barbery apes. He alos stopped so we could see the ship that sank, Morocco and the Gibraltor Strait as well as spain. Awesome! We plan to do it again. For some reason I think it was around 30 Euros I will check and see if I can find my trip report witht he info in it.

The van held 6

Just my thoughts...
:surfweb:

Okay I left facebook games tonight and am trying to read most of the information you all have been writing about. I have a lot of reading... osmosis?? There are some nice things to do that someone has put alot of thought and work into. Is it too late to sing up for secret santa? I have tried to add my information on to the roll call 2 times today and it will not go thru. HELP!!!

We so enjoy cruising and Disney is definitely up there but (and some would say it's a big butt) with the way our vacations were (the last few years we each only got 10 days a year) in order to maximize the love of cruising AND getting away from it all when we could, we had to look at a few different options....

Sure, now that we're moving south Disney brings the Wonder out here! We're hoping that at some point Disney will offer CA resident rates (keeping our address here in CA so some of the perks still work!) and we'll shoot up from Mexico to grab those rates if we can! Otherwise, we'll put the retirement monies to work and search out a deal or two. We were lucky to get one of the mid-ship Cat 3 cabins oh those many months ago (we do like our space!!!); calmer heads prevailed and we're now in a lovely Cat 7 GTY (Gotta be able to buy that wine package!!!) for this voyage....and we get to meet all y'all!:woohoo:

We had a Siberian Husky who also loved to run. He wasn't interested in running AWAY, just running! Sometimes if he slipped out or slipped his lead, he would run for hours - our biggest fear was that a gator might grab him while playing in one of the nearby lakes. We would drive around in DW's van and if we saw him, just opened the door; he'd run and jump in. If we didn't find him, he'd eventually just come back home and lay on the front porch until someone realised that he was there.
