My DD is actually Friday - 100 Days on Thursday - as I'm flying on the 17th so including that day (Dan is working in the AM so it isn't until 7pm we are flying)

I think is the -ive one. I can see very very close up so I'm long sighted I think. I can barely see without them so definately need spare ones and getting them every year keeps me at least 1 spare just in case! Touch wood I've only once broken my glasses but you never know! I do have the lenses thinned slightly so they aren't quite as heavy on my nose lol!

OK, Myopic, So your lenses are thinner in the middle and thicker towards the edge, So the smaller your glasses the thinner your lens will appear. I used to be an Optical Dispenser, I think you guys call me an Optician. Haven't worked in 10 year though! Can't believe I remember that!

Yep thats right. Unthinned in my current glasses the sides are 2x10ths of an inch thick (sad I just measured them). My new ones should be about 60% of that size!

I guess by Saturday we will all be on the 2 digits!

our preference would be rotation 2 or 3 as we would prefer not to be in PC for formal night...just my opinion.....








I think we would prefer 2 or 3 as well, for the same reason

We are looking at this for Saturday. They have kids workshops as well, and both of our kids were interested in them... If they are not offered on Saturday we will push back to Friday, and do something else on Saturday...

I was reading your post and when I got to the "you are a fountain of knowledge..." remark I hit the quotes button so that I could respond something to the effect of: "When it comes to Broadway shows? OF COURSE---I did mention I'm gay, right?!"....but then as I read further in your post you beat me to the punch! (Which reminds me, how come there's no smiley waving a rainbow flag? That's a smiley I could use a lot! The closest there is is this: which is cute, but not the same. Although I have been known to sometimes pepper my posts with a little fairy On the thread for our Double Dip cruise back in 2008 one of the questions of the week on the boards was something to the effect of "What disney character is most like you?"....and in a particularly campy moment I posted "Tinkerbell----cuz she's a sassy little fairy just like me!" We all suspected the tag fairy might put it under my name...but alas it never happened! )

We were leaning that way as well, but the kids have pirate costumes and it is a big deal for them so I changed my 2 to a 1... Pirate night in PC, and I will deal withthe rest...

The way I look at it, now that what the concierge is giving me matches the rest of you I know I am on the right boat! All will work out...

...Just a thought - if you are having trouble with the hotel - why not just buy Euros to cover the of the hotel - this way you will do the same thing ...

Brilliant suggestion. I am trying to avoid the worry of taking too much cash though, even though I would part with it within 12 hours of traveling. I'm going to give it another shot here in a couple of hours.

...One thing I have noticed is that when you have a great table of friends, the actual restaurant on a particular night is not that important!...I loved that coconut ice cream. I think I only just found it when they stopped doing it. I have looked all over for it to no avail. It was so refreshing.

I agree. I was "worried" about which dining room I would be in for which dressing theme on my first cruise, but I really could care less now.

This coconut ice cream you speak of sounds delightful!

Yeah Jason and I missed our double digit dance day. If I'm counting correctly, we get on the plane to head to Orlando in 84 days....although we don't get on the magic for another 89 I think....regardless...it's a low enough number that it actually feels real!

Hello all....does anyone know what time they start boarding the ship in Barcelona? My DW and I will be flying the red-eye into Barcelona on Saturday and taking DCL transportation to the port for the Magic....we probably gonna be wiped out since neither of us sleep well on a plane....

Big question what are we doing about joining the early dining reservations. Because I do not want to request a rotation if it will effect joining our reservations with people.

I just got into Glee this year and really enjoy watching it. I tell my hubby it is this the new Fame. I know dating myself but I just loved Fame.

I think though Glee is better.

I haven't been to Hersheypark in 18 years! I went there with DH right before we got married. Loved that place - they only gave a Hershey kiss back then, and it wasn't even the real factory, but the ride. Do they still have that?

The burkini was funny, I must say. I love the beach and if I wore one of those I would guarantee no skin cancer!

I am checking out Restaurant.com because we go up to Orlando all the time for dinner. THANKS!

Also, last night we were having dinner around 7:30 and we look into the backyard and what is blowing around but a balloon from DisneyWorld - that must be long travels or someone in Lakeland just got home from the Park. It was nice to have a little Disney at our dinner. My DD was fascinated and tried to figure out if it really DID come from the parks. We are about 33 miles away.

I am keeping with the original dinner plan thing that my TA told me so I will not request. She still insists Formal is Day 2 and I am going with it. I might be the only one in a dress on Sunday, but I am winging it.
