Between the Flyers game I am watching and the election - all they are talking about is the weather!!! Yesterday it rained for us, but I love the rain in the summertime. Keeps the grass green and the flowers beautiful! I don't have a suite or I would love to ask for everyone. I would say that Pirate Night would be the second week - that is just a guess don't take anything I say to heart:confused3. That feels so good when I type, the "second week" - I get soooo excited!:yay::yay: Tonight my daughter and I made a mojito freeze pie and it was delicious, but I swore no desserts till the cruise so I have broken the pact with myself.

mmmmmmmm love the sound of that pie!!!:thumbsup2

OK - so let me start with a

HEY - DizzneyDAnn PLEASE empty some PM's so I can get FE information from you!!!

So, here is my delima...

I have tried like heck to keep groups at 15 cabins max. I have been able to honor all the requests - *I* think. And now we are coming to closing date and I am unable to reach a few people.

Harvey aside I am unable to confirm DizzneyDAnn and her party. If I have the details right they have at letst 2 cabins. From the rollcall, there are 2 adults and 6 kids - some teens.

If she has dropped, then I am at a group of 15. If she has not then I would be at a group of 17 cabins - and a week or so to go until cut off date.

I know there is time, and I am just being anal - but the next 2 weeks are looking hellacious at work and I would like to ahve as much of this wrapped up as possible.

Does anyone have any thoughts about this? For the following people are you ok with a larger group?

Hoagie Pie, ReAnSt / Nacho1337, Goofy Granny, Disney Sweetie, CruzDirectorKaren, , Rufustee, , KrisannB, 1DisneyQueen, Granmaz, Terapin, gailadams_uk, DizzneyDAnn, Bob_and_Dawn, CarsFans, UKAngel

I see 3 outcomes. First a larger group of 15 cabins at a minimum unless we lose people from the above list. Second, 2 much smaller groups (dividing out the 17 cabins into a 9 and an 8). And third (not a favorite at all) is to drop DizzneyDAnn as I can't get her to respond to posts here onthe board and her PM box is full.

I really don't like number 3 as I have to see anyone get left out. however, we are getting down to the last moments and people are begging to see the groupings...

So everyone listed above is a Pommegranate. I leave the decisions of what to do to you guys, but I do need to know one way or another pretty soon as we are 10 days til the deadline.

Thanks!

Sue

I'm happy with the larger group, if that helps :) (and that's pomegranite now, not coconut right?)

Thanks for doing all this organising!

My check engine light just popped up yesterday. I'm hoping it's nothing major! I'd rather spend the money on this trip!

You could always do what one of the mechanics at a former employer would do and it only costs a couple cents. The check engine light kept coming on, everytime we had him check it he couldn't find anything wrong. So, he finally took a piece of black tape and covered the dash light.:rotfl: There problem fixed, no more light annoying you on the dash.

Jon

Thanks for telling us the nights of the semi, formal and pirate. Appreciate that!

The Flyers did win! I am the only one in the house that wants them to win so it was rough. I won't get political, but I am sure you heard by now regarding the election.

Sue, I am okay with 15 cabins - no problem. I have had 55 before, so this is easy.

Yes, the Mojito Freeze pie was delicious!

Also, funny question - is anybody ordering their Euros from their bank now since it is dropping or are you still waiting for a later time? I thought I would go to my bank at the end of the week. I have an e-mail into my financial guy about doing it now or if he thinks they may drop more. I know people from Europe don't like this, and I can sympathize!

A group of 15 is OK with me but not any larger. Thanks for all your hard work.:)

Hi all well I just sent in my landyard request better late than never. It is sure getting close. Back to see what other groups we can join. :)

I don't understand the Pomegranate group? Can someone explain - I am a little lost and a little late probably - sorry?

OK, here we go!

A ways back it was decided that due to luggage weight restrictions we should break into groups of people/cabins for the FE.

We landed at 15 cabins and roughy 40 people, and let the kids fall where they may.

Trying to stay creative, I named the groups using tropical fruit names. So, we have Papaya's Kiwi's (both from the country and the fruit just to add to the confusion); Pineapple's and the latest group is the Pomegranate's.

The papaya, Kiwi and Pineapple groups have been filled for a while and are what I am calling locked. Those groups have been posted. The Pomegranate group is at 14 cabins, and the cut off date is the 28th.

Most people in that group are OK with it going a little over 15 cabins, so we will not be having a coconut group unless we get alot of last minute flury to be in a FE group.

That said...

IF YOU WANT TO BE IN A FE GROUP AND YOU HAVE NOT WENT ME A PM OR SIGNED UP ON THE WEB, PLEASE DO SO!!!

I will have the final group(s) posted on or about June 1. What I don't think was decided was for people that join in the fun after the 28th and request to be in a FE group what group are they put into? If peoplel are making things I am leary to leaving the group open ended as people need time to plan. If people are buying things they need a count so they can order and receive.

I am open to suggestions...

Sue

Ahoy Mates!

Daily reminder that if you want a cruise shirt that has been designed just for us, you need to send me a PM now, rather than later!

Please also PM addresses to me if you have not supplied an address as yet!

Cut off date is May 28th.
Price is approx $11-13 U.S. plus sipping (*)

Shipping to the states will be a flat rate.
International shipping available at actual cost. I have also offered to carry shirts to the ship for international travelers. We also have a cruiser that has offered a US postal box for Canadian travelers.

These details we have a little time on... Ordering we do not...

Also, our price is dependant on number of shirts ordered. If we get to 100 shirts our price could get closer to $10 a shirt.

Oh - we also need orders for the tasting shirts at this time! They are being printed by the same people. Long way to go for 100 of these, so I think we are looking at $13 a shirt.

Thanks all,
Sue

I feel really bad because on the FE list, I don't know about half the people!!:scared1:

Me neither, but I figure this is one way to get to know people. The other way is coming by the boards more often. I will try very hard to do just that.

I ordered mine yesterday and the ban just called and say they are here. My only question is how much to take.

My check engine light has been popping on for a day or two about once a week for, oh, I don't know, 2 or 3 months. Earlier last year it came on and we had a diagnostic done. It seems that one of the cylinders :confused3 (or something like that) is not getting full compression :confused3.
DH says it can wait. So it is waiting.
:cutie:
Our one care has had the engine light pop on and off for over a year. Its a 98 with over 150k miles, so when the light starts flashing then I'll worry about it.

Thanks for telling us the nights of the semi, formal and pirate. Appreciate that!

I'm thinking about buying 500 euros now to cover taxi's and local purchases.

I love it when a plan comes together. The following is from Autumn in the Concierge dept. Who was more than happy to share it so I could plan things with my ship mates accordingly. She probably didn't know thathtere were hundreds of us...

Sue, I agree with the planning portion. There will no doubt be last minute stragglers. Maybe we can identify who is making extra and they can be part of a seperate group. They can be your back up plan. Just a thought. I appreciate all you are doing. I know how much work this is. I endured it on the 2007 repo with some of the same folks. Life has a way of getting busy I guess. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
