We are flying out of Miami and so will be there the night before. I think we will just do Priceline and ask for a 3 star at the airport. That works well for us at other cities.

John has the horn ringtone on his mobile - on the loudest setting. So when we are out and that goes off he gets quite a few sad looks!!!

I just want you guys to know I had to cancel this cruise. I know I've been MIA for awhile, but I needed a little time to pout about it.

I'm all better now though

My Mom is opening a new restaurant and asked me to help her get it going. There is a big festival going on for both of the weekends we'd be gone and so the timing kind of stinks. I've transferred my deposit to another cruise in Jan, and I will be turning my Oct. stay in WDW into a two week trip - so all is not lost. I was just really looking forward to meeting you all on this TA trip!

I've let Erik know about the lanyards, but I'm also signed up for the candy swap and the fish extenders. So please take me off those lists.

This's the Costa Luminosa.

A room it's not very different from the Disneystateroom, only the bathroom is bigger.

This is the inside pool the roof can get open, i didn't like this.

I have more picture's if you like to see, the schip was nice but big and i missed the warm feeling off the disneyships

We had a lunchbuffet that was great, so we had a nice day to see this ship in Amsterdam. Only the weather was not that good.

Has anyone researched private or semi private tours in Barcelona? Something that would include Famalia Sagrada (sp) and Parc Guell? The HOHO bus will probably not be the best option for us and neither would the bike tour because my son can only ride a custom designed bike. Any suggestions? I know there are some serious planners out there....

Just watched the Space Shuttle take off standing in my backyard. I absolutely love that and it never gets old. They said you can make it to Spain in approximately 20 minutes, if anybody misses their flight that is always an option!!

I think our family and non-Disney friends (yes we have a few! ) are sick of hearing it from us period!! We have a grandniece just finishing her first year at the University and she will be staying the summer with us....I'm sure she is of all the DCL talk she will have to listen to! You are so lucky, Im not talking to you anymore, we have booked entire trips around seeing a shuttle blast off and it has never got away on time!

You can visit anytime!!!! I get sad when they change the date and time too. Also, when they do ridiculous take offs at 4 or 6 in the morning!!! I always wanted to do it but it wasn't a reality until I moved to Florida. I wish I was getting ready to leave on a cruise when they had takeoff - life would be oh so wonderful!!!

By the way, the cruise ship looks great and it seems like they put on a good show for everyone - buffet and all! That is great - still biased to Disney though!!! Looks like it was a fun day!

That totally rocks!! My DS will be at Patrick AFB in late July/early August. We're praying he gets to see a launch while he's there.

I am going to try to not be waddling too much!!

DH and I may do some organized tours especially in Barcelona as we really want to see as much as possible. He always worried we will not be back on ship in time if we don't take the DCL tours as we usually take the long ones which take most of the day.

Sounds like my DH as well. He is always concerned about making it back in time. However, on one stop in Cozumel, we did almost miss the departure and our kids were on board. Always wondered how that would work out . . .LOL
