Sue ... that sounds great. Feel free to take over the beer tasting
co-ordination as it certainly makes sense to have one co-ordinator rather than a few different ones. The up to date list is on my post on Page One.

Hi Jason ..... welcome back :thumbsup2 sounds like a great trip you have planned. We have only given ourselves one night in Orlando following the cruise .... mainly because I felt guilty leaving the kids for 2 weeks already. I am regretting it now .... wish I had squeezed in a couple more days.

hi yeah i seem to remember you guys back last year hope your well

lol well yes i am lucky to be taking that long off but as i said i get no pay rise this year. yeah a few more days would have been great its right in the best time of year in disney so much going on

well i am currently living in suffolk i work contracts as an IT project manager

yes i am travelling alone ... though with some photos of my nephew and neice to keep me company and some missions they want me to do like get character autographs and some cool toys

Welcome on board..another fellow Brit:banana:

the great thing is my food is paid for as part of my booking i get counter service dining package (do not really eat alot in the parks too busy) which really suits me when i am in the parks.

i have an excel sheet with all the times and what park i am going to attend on any given day

It seems these are the rumoured dates for MNSSHP in Oct

October 1, 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31

And Halloween Horror nights generally run Thursday-Friday-Saturday and Sunday evenings during Oct.

I Hoping the above is true as i'm planning my days in WDW around them

SW

I'll volunteer to be a designated dragger.:thumbsup2

I could seriously do with you coming along to my night outs!
I always say to Len, why did you not take me home before I bla blabla
You would not go! well you should have dragged me:laughing:

Thanks for doing that! There are further updates loaded to the page right now that I received overnight and during the day today. Still waiting on quite a few more folks, but I'm definitely at over 50% of my list confirmed and/or corrected---so that's a great start. Right now it's looking like we have 225 lanyards spoken for....but I think some of those are still folks who have dropped of the cruise since first signing up.

The cancellations who have contacted me are:
jenkh
mom x4, grandma x4 & The Hammer
SueTGGR
TiggerTails57
Tink2020

In addition, I haven't heard back from Jewelmicky directly, but I have had more than one person PM me that they have also dropped off the cruise....no not sure if that's accurate or not.

Thanks Eric! I knew youd be on the ball on this one!

cannot book the other without knowing what both are doing:headache:

well, back after spending a few days at my parents, for Dad's 70th Birthday. Glorious sunshine and a lovely family BBQ, as well as a surprise party thrown by the church community......now I have so much to catch up on!:woohoo:

Hey all!

I reached out to the person Marilyn suggested yesterday, and she has sent us some Pixie Dust!! pixiedust: So, it is a bit early for her to book things for us, but she is more than willing to help us schedule ALL of our tastings!! And I did warn her that we 8 or so tastings that we would like to do.

Her suggestion is to have one main contact to work with her so that we are not doubling up on things. I am willing to take this on as I have been in contact with her. However - if someone else wants to do this speak up!

To be ready to book these, we need names (first and last) and cabin numbers if we have them. She will book everything and get us a contact person in guest services.

So, looks like we are all set for tastings!! More info as I get it!

Sue

Not sure of the details of the tastings, but depending on costs we may be interested :thumbsup2

We are trying to clean up and catch up on things this weekend. So, yes, that means it is raining in Atlanta and baseball has been cancelled...

Anyway, I know we have lost a few people, as well as gained a few. For those of you that have not signed up for Roll Call on our website - please do so!

For those that have been able to keep up with all the comings and goings, can you take a moment and look over the RollCall and see if there is anyone that needs to be removed? We have take a couple off that I could remember, but I would like to keep the list as cleas as we can.

Also, we have removed the lanyards from Roll Call as that is closed, and we have posted the the information that Eric has in his spreadsheet on the Lanyard Page. This will be updated when he is done so that everyone has access.

We are also looking in to a news type page for port and tour information. not sure how it will all pan out, but we are giving it a go!

And, finally another pleas for pictures! If you havent sent a picture, please do so! It is fun matching a DISname with a face. I have the feeling I will be walking around in Barcelona a nd will blurt out a DIS name!

Again, take a look at the website, some changes, and some new stuff!

Oh - stats as of now are as follows:
Roll Call families...106!!!!
Pictures uploaded... Sadly, only 42
Early dining...41
Late dining...65
Countries...We represent 10 different countries!!

More soon! I promise to try and stay caught up!

Sue

Thanks for all the info!

That what everyone though i did when i told them the story. If i would have do that it probably would have been broken. My hand was at my side down by my leg as i walked in and the door closed quick and hit hard.

Thanks for are the well wishes. The pain killer are doing a OK job keeping the pain away. The doctor at the ER said if a keep it immobilized it may be held in 5 day, but it could take weeks. I hope it does not take that long.

Welcome onboard!:dance3:

...and Happy Sunday everyone:hippie:

....I just got a PM from lenzs4 letting me know that they are not on this cruise any longer either.

And also for those of you who know or remember our good friends Chris & Rob (scoobypop and his DP) who were on the last EBTA in 2007 with us and then on the Double Dip in Fall of 2008, as well; and were supposed to be on this trip, too-----they just emailed me earlier this week to let me know that they, too, have had to cancel this trip. (They weren't signed up on the website or any rosters or anything so it won't impact any lists...just an FYI for folks who knew them.) That totally sucks for Jason and I, of course, because when we originally booked this trip we booked it with Sandi and her family, Hadley and her family and Chris & Rob----because our 4 groups always cruise together....and now they've all dropped one by one except me and Jason!! :confused3 Luckily there's a bunch of other familiar faces and friends from our last TA trip and the Double Dip still aboard and plenty of new DIS friends to keep us company, too!! :thumbsup2

Woody73 & Mrs Woody are on the EBTTA and are staying in Europe for some time, so doubt he will be checking in any time soon. However, he does sometimes posts from many of his faraway jaunts, so who knows?!!!

But we're pretty sure they're still on the cruise with us? that's the information that's most important right now...just so i can get an accurate headcount...any other confirmation like names and cabin #'s I can wait right up til July or so get confirmed.

Mr and Mrs Woody..........
When they left they had every intention cruising with us I am sure.

Ok! I'm a bit behind as usual. Finally, added our picture, signed up for tastings, t-shirts and would like to sign up for the tea. I'm not sure though if I'd be able to make the tea depending on how the kids are doing.

I've really started second guessing whether this was a good idea taking this trip or not with our little boy (who will be 21 months when we sail). Our daughter will be fine. My mom has offered to watch him, but my husband has said if he doesn't go then none of us are. So, any thoughts or suggestions???

I vote for taking the 21 month old along unless he has major behavior issues. We traveled with the kids to Europe when they were less than a year old but of course, that was many years ago. We did age appropriate things with them and it worked well.

The only real issues are plane rides which we use to give the kids cold medicine to sleep through most of the flight.

I am sure there are plenty of people on the boards who have traveled with kids recently who have plenty of tips.

Just my thoughts.

I dont know about travelling but I agree, I think you would miss him way too much to leave him, not that I think its a bad idea just think you would not enjoy it because of that. I am sure he will be fine, at least the flight will be out the way first.

We stepped aboard the Magic for the first time on DD's 2nd birthday (7 day Mexican Riviera). We've been hooked ever since! She had a wonderful time and so did the rest of us. We did use Flounder's several times so that we could spend time with the older kids and that was nice. I think we used Flounders for Pirate night and a couple of hours jet skiing in Cabo, and also for a grown up Palo evening:cloud9:. DD2 loved it in Flounders and was happy to go each time. Mind you, she had NEVER been with a babysitter that wasn't family before so we did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The stafff in Flounders was top notch as was our wait staff and our cabin attendant.

Around the ship DD2 loved the stage shows (but not the variety shows), the characters, and the kiddie water area. She also loved the stairs :confused3. I spent a lot of time walking up and down stairs! We took her into the Kids club area several times to see characters and play on the toys, as well.

I've also taken many flights with each my DD's from the time they were infants. Bring new little toys such as crayons, little stuffed toys, etc and bring them out along the flight. If your child will watch movies, a DVD player or video iPod are a good distraction for long flights. Fruit loops in a baggie and lolliipops are a godsend too! Bring other snack/juice box distractions also. To "pop" ears we used gummie snacks which were a new, special treat for flying. Of course, always remember to have the special lovey or blankie at all times!

It's all very doable and part of a wonderful family experience. We took DD to Europe when she was 9 months and again when she was not quite 4. Gate check the stroller so you have it with you until the last minute.

Hello all! Okay I went to the website to sign up and must say I made lots of mistakes. Don't ask me to do important stuff when my head is about to explode. Can someone please remind me of that??? Now that I have admitted my blondeness on the airwaves, who can help me to correct the information I posted? Is it the same people I email pictures too? Thankx for helping out the blonde!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I think you can fix them by logging back in to your roll call, click roll call, click on roll call update (top left of the scroll,) once you sign in, click on the red edit beside your name. It will bring up the original entry fields.
