Sept 18 2010 WB TransAtlantic Pirates/Capt Jacks Re-Repoing Repossession Cruise Pt.4

I just noticed that the Next Dry Dock for the Magic is October 3 - 15, 2010. So no hurry getting out of our cabins when we get in. Wow, 2 cruises on the Magic and both times I go on the last cruise before it goes in to Dry Dock.

I had not realized that you were on the 5 night special cruise as well until you posted this. That was our very first cruise. We have been on the Magic since and we are due to go again in just over three weeks' time.

It was very sad when they started to remove table clothes and stacking tables and chairs while we were still having breakfast. We then had quite a wait for the shuttle bus to the hotel and within less than an hour, deck 9 was full of containers.

I emailed them the other day about the dining schedule. They said it was unconfirmed at this time, but could confirm that there would be a 2 formal and 1 semi formal evening.

I am glad that we are having two formal nights. I just received a new evening gown in the post yesterday, but I also have fallen in love with one that I will have custom made. So now I have an excuse to order this.

I am sad I found out Monday that another of cruisers has cancelled. I am feeling a bit anxious becaue I am quite shy and like to be in my comfort zone. I was looking forward to this cruise becasue a few of the cruisers I had cruised with before. So pease do not mistake my quiteness for being a rude person. I guess it is time for me to become more active here and try to get to know you folks (before I have a panic attack). So where do I begin as I do not want to be intrusive?

Looking at you signature strip you look like a seasoned DCL guest and WDW traveller so I’m sure you'll love the discussions here, while I’m a seasoned Disney theme parker this is my first cruise!

I'm a bit of a lurker, reading the forum and trying my best to keep up with all the different threads and posting a bit from time to time and no one has ever made me feel my opinion is not welcome, quite the opposite.

One tip. Try to visit the forum as often as you can, the discussion moves so fast if you step away for too long it can be tough to catch up.

Not at all. I, too, love to dress up. So there will be at least 3 of us (that's with DH). And lots of others also like to dress that aren't here on the boards.

What a shame . .... I would normally not want to rush off the ship, but this time I will because I have ONLY ONE DAY to spend in WDW and I want to get there quick to make the most of it. Hope to be on the first shuttle to WDW!

Last time there were lots of people dressing up on Formal night ... the majority were really. DH and I certainly will be

Im sure youll manage wonderfully! Not much to do bar choose a date and time and collate names. Youll probably need to let DCL know but don't know if this needs to be done until onboard?

Thanks, that's what I thought. I will send off an e-mail the week prior just to warn them of numbers, then confirm at Guest services when onboard.

Becca just turned 6 and is into all things girl AND wahtever her brother is doing... Starwars is also a favorite, she sings all the time...

Things are looking promising for fast friendships as long as they don't mind a little friend...

They would love a little friend. One question though, they won't be in the same kids club due to age, but if there isn't many kids on board (as it appears to be not alot of kids), will they join the groups together so they have more friends? Or do all the groups do activities together anyway?

Just jump in where you are comfortable. I understand shyness as I was painfully shy in my younger years. (although people doubt that now!) We look forward to meeting you and please let us know what WE can do to make you comfortable. Have you sent a photo for the website? It will help us more outgoing folks to recognize your face and know that we need to step up and help you feel comfortable ---that's my job, you know! Come to the first meet on the first day and just say hello to someone. We are all there because we are interested in meeting YOU and the other Disney loving folks.

I am now an owner at AKV!!! Woo-hoo!!! I have been jumping for joy all day!!!! I've been looking into DVC for years now but never purchased. Today was the day though!!! I'm sooo happy!!!

We will be sitting it the Philly airport waiting to fly to Barcelona, I be having a mini cruise meet. I think there is 15 people on our plane going on our cruise.

you all should make seat signs to identify everyone, lol. maybe green mickey heads with screen names, lol. Just pop them on the head rest and let the visiting commence.

Tuxedo (me) and formal gowns (DW) (didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea! ).

Not everybody goes formal - everyone should be comfortable with what they are doing - but we firmly believe that proper decorum should be observed. If someone absolutely must go to dinner in shorts or worn out jeans, that's what Lido is for in my opinion.

We really like going to Lumiere's on formal nights for the atmosphere. We've always tried to adjust our dining rotation to that end.

You will see some very dressed up people and some in "church clothes", and everything in between those two.....and a very few that will wear sweats or something similar to make a statement.
