It's been snowing on and off for a couple days now. We still don't have the amount that some of you got :sad1:

When Rylea goes outside to play she likes to run around with sticks and chew them up. She is like a wood chipper. She'll break off small pieces until the branch is just a pile of chips.

In the winter the snow covers the branches on the ground so she goes right to the source. THE TREE.

I am posting a Q for the weekend.

Q1(non disney) Whos hot and whos not??

Q2 Disney Whats your fondest disney memory?

My answers.....

Hot........ jose mourinho not Gordon Brown.

Hot ....Fergie from Black eyed peas not Brittany Spears.

Disney Memory.......Every time I walk down Main street USA,I cry every time. it reminds me of my homeymoon and wedding nearly 20 years ago, and everything I live for and hope for in the future, what I have had since last time and if we will make it back there again in the delicate thing we call life.

Oh difficult

Hot -> Oh now this is hard. That guy from Sweet Home Alabama I cant remember the name of
Not -> Gordon Brown - with you on this one

Fondest memory -> OK so its sad but I still remember being a kid and it was either our first or second trip to Disney and we were sat on Main street waiting for the parade. I had fallen asleep and as the electric light parade started heading towards us my Mum woke me up and I just remember seeing sparkly lights and a giant mushroom wiht a catepillar on top! That is still one of my all time favourite memories.

Dans fave memory is us sat in the beer garden in the UK pavillion in EPCOT drinking and watching Illuminations. HE absolutely adored it and can't wait to go back this year!

You lucky thing :cool1:

I am posting a Q for the weekend.

Q1(non disney) Whos hot and whos not??

Q2 Disney Whats your fondest disney memory?

Q1 Who's hot ....... Johnny Depp (who else ??????)
Who's not ........ David Beckham

and if we are including females .....

who's hot ........ Holly Willoughby ( because she is natural )
who's not ........ Katie Price ( because she is not )

Q2 Fondest Disney Memory ..... so many of these to pick just one, but I suppose I would pick my first trip to WDW with my then fiance ( now DH) and my kids when they were about 5 and 8. My Mum and Dad were also with us and that's why it is my fondest memory. At the time I imagined having many trips to Disney with my parents, but that was to be my only trip to WDW with my Dad, as he became ill with cancer and passed away in 2008. It was before digital cameras and I really wish I had taken more photos. I can remember walking down Main Street in the morning, all of us together, and getting that warm feeling you get when you are with the people you love in a special place.

I will answer the disney question of the week (for now).....
I have so many fond memories that I cannot even pick just one. I loved watching Pooh rock my son on his lap when he was a baby, and I cry when I watch Wishes and Illuminations....but I think at the top of the list is the memory of a pontoon ride down the river between Old Key West and Downtown Disney. It was me (7mths pregnant with Liam) Dh, DS age 2, my mom and my dad. We rented a pontoon at OKW and DH drove us up and down the river....it was a peaceful time, and my dad fell asleep on the boat....a month later, my dad passed away. I will never forget that trip, and specifically, that ride down the river.

How strange that we both posted very similar stories about our Dads just one minute apart Kamy :hug:

I have tears in my eyes:grouphug:

Me too. I feel very lucky to still have my Dad with me and our Disney memories are precisious!

That is so true Sarah. Thats why I am going back in 2011 with my kids, even though they will be 20 and 17. I want them to keep coming with us on Disney trips and making special memories. Fortunately they are not the types to give up on Disney trips in order to go raving in Ibiza, or Magaluf or somewhere equally delightful.

Catching Up
Thanks for the welcome and information. I tried to send Paula a PM to get on the list, however I don't have enough posts yet (need 10) Oh well, eight posts to go

Just keep posting. :surfweb::thumbsup2
Good Morning Transatlantic Cruisers ..... today is a very important day ........

we are now in the "twenties"

ONLY 29 WEEKS TO GO UNTIL WE BOARD THE DISNEY MAGIC

yay:

YAY!!!!

Yeah our dates for like today the 27th Feb would be 27/2/10 but you would be 2/27/10. Its great fun trying to remember especially when your birthdays the 12th of March as in some places I've written it and theyve assumed Im a December child lol

Oh, whew! I thought I might need to deal with whole different dates! :rotfl: This I can do! I think our military does it your way. DH did that alot when he first was discharged.

I love back to front language :lmao:Its too funny when our words are same but different. Like we say pants for knickers or underpants...instead of pants for trousers :rotfl2:

and we say skivies for underpants. More so male underpants than womens. ;)

LOL I know! Logically the pants thing though is so mixed up. Underpants does kind of suggest that trousers are pants yet we don't call them that! Very odd! Fanny Pack is still my all time favourite one

And my mom (mum to you all!) wears her fanny pack in front, therefore making it a tummy pack. :rolleyes1

LOL! Well I managed to paddle in the Mickey pool while it was empty and we did get to go in Oceanears Club one night and make Flubber - although only made the EBTA one as on the WBTA they scheduled this at the same time as dinner for late seating!

I still want to be able to go in the Stack! Sad I know but it looks lush!

My sis was told that the Stack is a grandma free place by the staff there! I'm not saying she's a hovering grandma......:sad2:

When Rylea goes outside to play she likes to run around with sticks and chew them up. She is like a wood chipper. She'll break off small pieces until the branch is just a pile of chips.

Jon

So funny! Our DS's dog (lives with us just now) is the same. DrHug did some pruning a couple of days ago and the branches were scattered all over. When I went to pick them up the dog grabbed them and ran around and around!! :rotfl2:

Oh thought of another one I love - I think it was called Green Eyes

I also love to just order the drink of the day. :woohoo: Surprise me, they are all good and I'm on vacation, I don't want to make any more decisions than I have must!! :rolleyes1

:goodvibes yip, why do I struggle to get my head around it...I have to tell you a story.

This is strange! Both made me tear up. The memories that we are creating, that's what it's about!

Not sure who is hot or not anymore. I really don't keep up with names of celebraties anymore.

You all probably know what mine is....the night I met DrHug. My all time favorite day. :cloud9:

Me too. I feel very lucky to still have my Dad with me and our Disney memories are precisious!

Me too Sarah, I hardly met my granparents, 1 I never met, my mum lost her mum when she was 12,I plan to make up for it with Mum and dad, I am more than happy to cruise with my parents, they are great fun and very considerate, they love Len and him them, I am lucky to have them both. and will enjoy them both as long as I can. Also they pay the bar bills;)

A local dept store (Herbergers) had a great early bird sale this morning. We went and bought new luggage, which we sorely needed, for this trip. We got purple....think we will be able to spot it at the airport? :) We got 5 pieces, two 30 inch, 2 25 inch and a 20 inch. Now it feels like we are getting closer! :thumbsup2

Angie..............

you are missing the funniest thing..

And my mom (mum to you all!) wears her fanny pack in front, therefore making it a tummy pack.

Fanny is a very rude word in the uk, I feel guilty typing it.:lmao:

Where is the motor home these days?
You will be away making pies before you know it!
