Re events:

Wasn't there some mention of a ladies afternoon tea and a group beer tasting session and we will also have to organise a DIS meet on embarkation day at some point.

Plus the drinks meet in Barcelona on the evening of the 17th.

Lets see I work full time, DW doesn't work, but I do Scuba training to make a couple extra dollars and Candida has sold some pictures. So does that make us a SINK (Single Income No Kids) or TINK (Triple Income No Kids)household :lmao:

Jon
we must be????? like holidays too much to have kids.nah, thats too long!
PJ- the red and white slushy drink they typically serve at Sailaway has been called the Bon Voyage or the Sailaway, at least on my previous cruises. It is half pina colada and half strawberry daquiri. I LOVE IT!:goodvibes:goodvibes

We are getting more snow today.......can I move back to Florida now?:cutie:
Can I come with you?

Oh, yes and castaway cay 5k.
What about a jammy bfast?

We did it! My DW and I have been reading these posts since they were started. We booked the WBTA the first morning in Fall 2008. Our airfare is on US Air from Portland, OR to Philadelphia and then to Barcelona. We will be staying at The Praktik, Barcelona from Wednesday through Saturday. The only thing we have left to do is figure out transfers from the Barcelona Airport to the hotel and to the port on Saturday morning.

Welcome! Glad you've sorted out most things now! Congrats!

Oh yes there was!

Marc and I were just talking about what to do after the cruise. We've got 2 nights at Boardwalk Villas booked but since it might be some time before we get back to WDW we might try and add an additional 2 nights. We've got points from OKW that we could use at BWV if there's availability but we can't book until March 4.....a few more days to ponder what to do.

It will be during F&W....................

We have a week at BCV reserved. Will do Epcot several times and all 3 other parks as well. We still have some days left on a 10 day never expire park hopper. :thumbsup2

oooohhhh .... I loved this drink, and the green one they served at the Captains Cocktail reception on Formal night ... anyone know what that was calld and what was in it?

OH!! I love the green one too, but don't know what it is called either.

See Id go for EPCOT just cause its food and wine festival at the time and really want to do it!

:thumbsup2 Our favorite park and we have never been during food and wine festival!

Welcome!!!! We lived in Newberg, just 2 and a half hours north of you for 21 years. Retired and moved "home" to Montana a year and a half ago. Glad to have you onboard!

also martini tasting and let's not forget the infamous Geezer meets at Cove Cafe! :woohoo::grouphug: Cookies and milk for all!! We have found that you might want to stop by the drink station and pick up the milk on the way though. :thumbsup2 GITS are welcome too!

Hopefully I'm not stepping on any toes by doing this, but I just dropped an email to Pratkik Rambla to inquire about the possibility of a group rate. I'll post whatever I hear back.

Thanks! Anyway to save money is always welcomed by me!!! :goodvibes

Amanda and I are currently booked at SSR (I think) until 10/6. I know that there is a MNSSHP on Sunday 10/2. It's being offered as part of the race incentitives that weekend. We are hoping that WDW keeps the same schedule as last year and has one on Tuesday since that will be less crowded.

We are in Saratoga from disembarkation day...until Sat 9th Oct. And desperate to attend a MNSSHP. Anyone looking at collating a post cruise MNSSHP meet? I admit I havent checked dates yet..and get confuised with the date/month thingy difference between UK and US... :-(

sorry guys, missed your post lst time I checked in.

A very warm scottish welcome to you:woohoo:

Whoo boy... I have a lot of catching up to do!
I'm gonna try to read all these pages later tonight when I have more time.

I wanted to ask though- is our website not working? Or do I need to log in somewhere or something? I am on a new computer so I may have been logged in on the old computer (cached or whatever) but now I'm not? everything has little boxes of error messages and I can't see the roll call. I was trying to see if I'd ever got around to adding ourselves!

But anyway- I have exciting news (for us anyway LOL) - one of our cat 10's turned into a cat 3. It's time for our family to happy dance.
:banana::cool1::banana::cool1::banana::cool1:

We're in 8522 (I know- not one of the "good" cat 3's- but we'll take it LOL) and we still have 5524 SPH room........
We may have to cancel one of our upcoming cruises (probably aug 2011) but that's okay- we'd have been crusing THREE times that year anyway! And that's a lot of extra costs like airfare and such. LOL But it's worth it....... we really enjoyed the cat 3 on the last cruise! We're so excited!

Interesting note: when we rebooked more rooms onboard on our last cruise last May...... when we had the cat 3 for that cruise... we asked about changing to cat 3 for the TA and although none were available- she did tell us how much it would be (to change one room, 2 ppl to a cat3 instead of our cat 10) and the price we were offered today for the cat 3 is only $100 more than what she told us onboard last May. So the price hasn't gone up much!

DH is outside trying to shovel the snow so we can go pick up the boys from preschool. Poor thing...as he shovels, it keeps falling on him....

We are not sure if we are flying into Barcelona the day before, but if so, we would love to find out about a group rate at a hotel, or transfers. We will definitely keep that in mind. Our first plan was to fly overseas a day or so early, but with work, it is up in the air.

Is the website for all of us down? I tried to go on and it wasn't working. Thanks!

Okay, hope this is okay, but I wanted to post a Question for the Day: What are your FAVORITE CRUISE DRINKS???
Mine include: Bon Voyage, BBC (DH's favorite), and the Mocha with Bailey's in the Cove Cafe

Welcome!!!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Well, we had another snow storm...it wasn't too bad though. We had several inches but it didn't really stick to the roads. The worst part about the storm was the wind. Apparently it was really bad driving last night because of the driving winds. It's beautiful now...and the snow has already begun to melt.

I'm getting excited for the cruise! I'm starting to look for FE gifts...I have an idea but I still need to figure it out 100%.

Hope all is well with everyone! :)

Your right website at moment is playing up but Im sure itll be back soon! Greg our guru is doing his best to get it all sorted!

My favourite is a strawberry daquiri and a pina colada and the combination of the 2. There is also a very nice drink called Ivory Keys which is served in sessions.

Dont try the "Trouble Waters" I think it was called. Basically it was like a long island ice tea with Chamboard and something else very sweet in it that tasted awful! We had it on the EBTA when the weather was awful!

Driving this morning was not any better. I got caught in a snow drift this morning and had to wait about a minitue for the wind to die down. here is a pic out of my windshield when i was caught in it.

Not complaining- I just wasn't sure if it was only because I was on a new computer and not logged in or something like that. :)

wow.......
we've had a lot more snow here than we've had in a long time (32 years to be exact!) but goodness-- nothing like that! You were driving along and suddenly that much snow? Scary!

What is Disney up to?
We have today in UK, received a FED EX package..well..a neighbour did on our behalf. It had to be signed for...with the usual red tape and flourish of the electronic writing pen. All exciting looking. And marked urgent etc. My name on it...so DH thought it something to do with his birthday on Sunday lol  so didnt open it. He didnt notice the Orlando post mark. But it still burns a hole on the kitchen work top, because he thinks I have planned a surprise.:). I get home late this pm.and see its from Orlando.OOO...exciting! :cool1:
NAH. Boring. A large heavy card package...with a tiny thin little letter inside, merely telling us when our final payment is due, and when we can start our excursion/Palo bookings. As if I didnt already know those dates lol :rotfl2:
Now my point is............a few weeks ago...we got a scruffy thin letter through normal post...of little importance looking, almost overlooked as junk mail...and its the letter for OBC.
Just strikes me as funny

Bet we would all like a reduction on cost of cruise instead of money in FEDEX account!

Love yous anyway Disney :lovestruc
Lyn

Yep...we received the same thing. Come on Disney...give us a break.

Ok thanks!

All of the snow was wind blow snow. Out in Annville, Pa car were getting stuck and with in minutes they were cover in 2 to 3 feet of snow.
