Couldnt decide if others who shall remain nameless were joking!
Ok, I forgot who I wa to add, sorry will look back!
OK, First of all, Can I please add my daughter, Arabella's birthday to the navigator. It is actually on the 15th, but we will be in transit, so she'll have no celebrations until we arrive. She's turning 8 and doesn't quite get that you can celebrate your birthday on another day, She thinks she going to miss out!:sad1:

I'm glad I'm hearing some positive SSR feedback, we are going to stay there for 12 nights after the cruise and was wondering whether we'd made the right choice.

OOHHH, I'd love to answer, but this is our first cruise and I have no idea. Probably take us an hour to find out room! As for eating, dessert, what else!!! Everyone knows vacation calories don't count!!! And I didn't know all the restaurants were open for the first lunch, Do we just turn up anytime, or do we have seating times for lunch also? SOOOO much to learn!:goodvibes
Its great planning stuff like that.
:confused3Hmmm, was that aimed at me?
:rolleyes1
Maybe:laughing:
Blame the Konk Koolers:lmao::rotfl2:
Ok, its all the Knonks fault.

No, not yet.:cloud9:

Do you need lap counters while you train on deck 4, we can hold up cards with numbers from the blue deck chairs, lol.

Pj

We can be a matched set, lol! One can do laps and the other can use the stopwatch app to time them, :lmao:

Pj

And someone could score them marks out of 10 for running style, technical ability and performance and hold up cards like they do in the skating !!!

Looks like Disney is contracting the Santa Maria for the day we are in port, :thumbsup2 http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/c...adeira-portugal/santa-maria-columbus-galleon/

I had looked at that - at least I think it was that one. The thing that concerned me was that the decks looked absolutely packed!

It does look a bit too crowded for comfort, and with it being chartered by DCL the cost has increased a bit too - from less than 30 euros to $95 for the trip. Well it looks like that's not really an option then .... I guess we will just wander around the town for a while and see what happens.

It looks like the 17th is the favorite. Now, we need to narrow it down to a time. I know some people will be on tours during the day, so we probably don't want to start it too early. Plus, most restaurants in Spain don't open for dinner until 8 or 9 pm (I guess that's why tapas are so popular!). Perhaps 4 or 5 (that would be 1600 or 1700 for our international friends:laughing:)

Just throwing it out there, let me know what you think.

I would say 5pm, just in case people are off out visiting places.

You could walk round to the town and take the cable car up to Monte and back. Great views down to Funchal and you should get great photos of the Magic in port!!

What tcan we get on board?
If DCL looks at this group they might not let us on board:goodvibes
What time are you going onboard?
As soon as the shuttle get to the terminal
What are you going to EAT when you get onboard?
Most likely but something edible, but I have been known to take a dare or two:goodvibes

How soon will you be unpacked?
Unpack, :confused3, Due to luggage limits I might be only bring the clothes I am wearing. It's going to be a long two weeks.

Jon

I am sure glad to hear that. Will you have who is going where or is someone else keeping excel spreadsheets>

Let's just hope that it just a quick gallbladder operation. Perhaps they just want to be extra careful. I speak from experience that after gallbladder surgery you may have an easy recovery.

I think the people organising each event are keeping lists of names of whos going or hope they are lol

Oh good lord! How the heck am I supposed to keep up with you crazy people on here?!?! You can't go more than 12 hours off the boards before there's 10 pages of posts!! :lmao: (I have procrastinating catching up for several days now and you're about 25 pages ahead of me and so I'm just not going to be able to catch up....I'll try to jump back in here!)

We were away last weekend taking my cheerleaders to their National Championships in Orlando...and I'm pleased to say that we finished up an undefeated season on a high note by winning at nationals! :cheer2::cheer2: (And one of my freshman girls entered individuals for her age group and she won in her division, as well, which was quite an accomplishment!)

Well done on winning Nationals Eric. Check out Post 7 for info on some of the stuff that is being organised that you might have missed.

I think were good for a few pages.

Guys.....do you think the navigators and menus and formal nights etc will be the same as the east bound?

WHo is doing both?
Corinna and I think Mr and Mrs Woody are?
:3dglasses Are you out there Woody?

I am so excited waiting for these trip reports.

Lynne, last time the activities were similar, menus were the same. The only thing really different was the formal nights arrangements but I think this was more about changing the numbers around. It was all pretty similar

Hi all it ias been a very long time since posted. We have paid off our cruise.!!!! We decided to pay it early cause the Canadian was almost at par with the US.

Also since we booked a category 11 and got moved to a category 8 :)

I have been trying to catch up on posts. And noticed a few about candy and players and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Of where these posts are.

We would also love to link dining reservations we adults. We too have a good sense of humour. We have early seating.

Well I plan to post often now.

So looking forward to meeting you all in a short while. I say short because waiting for this cruise for almost 2 years the time left is short :)

Welcome back! So did you upgrade to a Cat 8 or get a nice bump?

I am just getting excited about getting onboard.
What tcan we get on board?
What time are you going onboard?
What are you going to EAT when you get onboard?

I dont really need to know I just want to chat about getting on the MAGIC
:cloud9::yay::woohoo::cool2::cheer2:

LOL Lynne you were very excited yesterday I see.

We boarded around 12-1pm last time. We are getting to the port for around 11:30 from the looks of it. Definately going to Parrot Cay! Can't handle carrying a tray and a drink! So clumsy!

Heres some more...
How soon will you be unpacked?
(for me it takes about 30 minutes after luggage arrives)
How fast with your FE be hanging up?
(Ours will be in the carry on luggage - so pretty fast)
How fast will magnets make the door?
(These too will be in the carry on...)
How soon will you find your favorite CM?
(Not sure on this one - we will be looking for Maricar (stateroom) and Victor (bar) as we have cruised with them before. I also want to look for Eva (Dining room) Zan (head server) and Pascal (Chef) but those may have to wait until Dinner...

Who else has the DISorder today?

LOL you were all hyper yesterday!

Unpack in about an hour. FE will be out first probably lol. Favourite CM is David from the Ent staff and last time he actually introduced us onboard (and recognised us which was great fun).

I think the menus will be the same.

Not sure about the formal nights; I heard they were different on the last TransAtlantic cruises.

Woody

Yeah I think this was more to do with people moaning about not having enough lol. Think they will have sorted that out this time.
