We are expected to get snow tomorrow! I can't wait...well actually today, but still. We'll see if it happens!

Someone smashed your snowman! What is this world coming to? I was so impressed that you had enough snow to build a snowman...that storm is coming our way right now...we're running to the grocery store and then spending the rest of the day inside where it is nice and warm.

Hello everyone - Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! I miss all of you and have not been on the boards in a long time. Trying to catch up but a lot going on here. Husbands work is still going slow so no new cruises coming up and very sad about that.

Corrina - sorry to hear that Dubai didn't work out. Amy, sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well. I know there is a lot going on and I miss everyone.

Just to be back in the Cove Cafe one more time having a drink and a laugh would be great. Hope you all had a glorious Christmas and if anybody is near WDW, please e-mail or PM me, I would love to meet up.

I can't believe people get pleasure out of smashing a snowman. Glad you got pics of it though.

Sorry I haven't been on this week. I was baking and cooking for Christmas and dog-sitting for a friend on Christmas Eve through the day after Christmas so that along with the normal family get togethers kept me very busy. It was really nice to spend time with both boys at the same time. Spent Christmas eve at my nieces annual party. Christmas day I had dinner with my sister's family and then everyone got together (siblings, family, and my boys with their wife/significant other) and exchanged gifts for the younger kids and polyanna gifts for us adults. Then Dave, Amy, Eric and Stephanie all came back to my place that night so we could exchange gifts. It ended up being a very nice christmas.

We did get some snow. Not as much as I thought we were going to get. The wind blew most of it away from my car so I didn't have that much to clean off.

My company is closing the pilot plant where I work effective 07JAN11. Since we get three floating holidays for 2011 and you have to use them or lose them, everyone was trying to figure out how we would all take three out of five days. So, the company decided to give us this week off in place of those five days (since they want us there that first week to finish out paperwork for batch records, etc). Next week is going to be tough. I've worked at this site for 13 years and worked with many of these people for years. It will be hard to leave those people but I am looking forward to a new challenge beginning 10JAN11.

I do think it was a bunch of the older high school kids that just had nothing better to do... Stephen was downright MAD... Becca was upset, but got over it pretty fast... She was on to bigger and better things (her American Girl doll...)

As for enough snow for a snowman... We still have some - but only where the sun doesn't hit. The snowman parts are still out there - and are mpre ice than snow now...

Makes me really want to cruise... We are still considering the MV of the Fantasy - but it isn't available on the website yet... Anyone taking it? Anyone else interested in September of 12?

Yup, Marc and I decided to do it! We are doing a very silly thing: Dream 5-day cruise on March 22, 4 nights at WDW, and then on to the MV of the Fantasy. We are thinking of the WBTA (if there is one) in the fall of 2012, if the funds hold together.

The MV should be back up online on the 30th. They were giving those booked on the original date the option of moving to the newer date before opening it back up again.
