We just returned home, and had a terrific four weeks on Hawaii.
I don't know where the Flying Dutchman went, but on Oahu we visited the DVC Aulani resort (under construction) and saw the
Black Pearl in the harbor.
Cast members said there are no plans yet for the Black Pearl.
I bet Disney anchors the Black Pearl in the bay in front of the Aulani resort for photos with Captain Jack.

OK this weather's doing my head in! Sorry I've been MIA all but I've been manic with work (implementing a new system in Jan so its a bit of a harsh time). Glad everyone is well. I am lurking as much as I can. The snow here today has given me some spare time (well unuseable time) to try and at least with everyone Happy Holidays.
Sarah, I have been watching the snow storms hit as we were looking to send a team over to do some work. They are glad to be here at home... Makes for a beautiful photo though!

Well, while I was HOPING that there might be a WBTA in 2012 and we would transfer our 2011 booking over to it, new developments have occured!
Word on the street (or at least another thread here on DIS) is that the Fantasy's MV is being moved up a week to March 31, 2012. That's not an issue for us timewise as we can basically go whenever it goes BUT there is a cruise on the Dream, 5-night on March 22, 2012, that friends from our first DVC member cruise are on and it's sort of an unofficial DVC member reunion cruise.
We are considering booking that 5-nighter, stay for 5-nights at WDW, and then get on the Fantasy for our currently-booked MV. If we do that we'll probably move our 2011 WBTA to the Dream and say goodbye to the option of a 2012 TA.....though we could book the lowest inside cabin for a TA, couldn't we???

So, we saw/heard about the MV of the Fantasy as well... The move puts the new MV during a school break... So, it is an opportunity for us... We are waiting on pricing to come out so we can see if we can swing it... If now we will stick with the September dates and hope someone will join us...
Things here are a bit hectic. Stephen is struggling with school and that is just added stress. I am feeling like a bad mom as I let them put him in some honors classes and now he slacks in the non honors ones... I shouldn't have split the load. The school says it is typical behavior of a 13 year old boy... We shall see.
Becca is doing well. She has lost another tooth on the bottom and the top ones are wiggly. I am hoping to make it through the holiday with all of them intact so we can get a good photo or two. She is looking for pen pals now as her reading and writing has taken off. Anyone with little ones want to get something started?
I have moved back to my old job at work - which is wonderful - or will be once the transition is complete. Now I can redo everything that fell apart in the year I stepped to our support team to lend a hand. I am off from now until the new year, which will make for a good break.
Glenn is back working with my company. Makes for a better commute for me thats for sure! He seems to be having fun in his new roll, so it was a good move for all.
