O.K. Jen.......you are right, I would rather be driving around town dropping off and picking up than talking to the teacher every night about behavior issues! It is such a catch 22......the talking I mean, I am one who believes the kids need at least a partial recess. I would always let them out for at least 5 minutes at the end, even on the worst day. UGH........poor Jen. Have you tried anything positive.........if you make it through the week (day
) without a call from the teacher, then you can have............who knows sometimes that has worked for me. Good luck
I am not sure about the camcorders.......all I know is they did not want to sell me anything they had except tape which we already have. To be honest we are not big freaks about our pictures so we would probably never know the difference. I would like a little one that I could fit in my purse and also have it be a digital camera. We never feel like we take enough pictures, so I think that might make it more likely that we would.
I am really going to try NOT to buy any new clothes for the cruise! Now there is a challenge. Dress shoes for the kids are usually a need, but we should have enough nice clothes to make it for a week. My husband, however, has lost some weight and might not fit in the suits he just bought (darn him), so he might need new. Me on the other hand, my story is a little different
.
I was also thinking about Jen and your laundry dilema..........you know they will do laundry on the ship for cheap. I don't think it is really out of line. You could also send it out at the hotel. DCL turns it around pretty quickly and so do the Disney properties. That might save you a little room, as far as packing. Just an idea.
Don't you all love how the anticipation for the cruise is almost just as exciting as the cruise itself. It is truly the vacation that keeps on giving!
Good Night,
Missy
