Hi guys,
First of all, great site Jen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will PM you the only correction I found on our entry. I really really like it. I liked "check up from the head up"...
I did my practice pack yesterday. I'll have enough room for all my goodies in one suitcase and one drag-behind-me suitcase. Woo hoo! Plus I'll have a carry-on/beach bag to take too, and a garment bag for dressy clothes.
I found a dress in the back of my closet, too! Woo hoo! When I bought it it was slightly baggy, now it fits fine. That's a bummer, but who cares? I didn't lose any weight and it doesn't look like I'm going to. You'll have to endure my large body in a bathing suit, folks. But hey, since I'm making the door signs and reminder sheets, you have to like me!
Started perusing jobs online tonight for the big bad December graduation. Missy, do you know of any counseling jobs in your neck of the woods? I think I'd like to work for a college as a counselor (good money, I like that population, and my kids - if I ever have any - could attend for free). That's a few years away as those jobs usually take 2-3 years experience. But I was searching searching searching - hospitals, schools, colleges, mental health agencies, private practices. I have phone books from two neighboring counties now, and probably in September I'm going to start calling and sending resumes. Yuck. Just the thought of that is exhausting. I'm realizing to get the "dream job" I'm probably going to have to put in my time doing a job I less-than love, but that's life, as my dad would say. It would be even easier if I could just get married and then I could take a cushier, more relaxing job with more cooperative clients in a private practice since I'd have two incomes to run the home on. However, that isn't happening right now, so we'll have to see. It's a double-edged sword; move to a bigger town to meet someone but spend more money on cost of living, or stay here and save money but have a harder time meeting people. Anyone have any eligible, Christian young men they care to send my way?
We got our FFC shirts today. Look good, fit well, filed in closet.
What else? Oh, I bought some beach towels online last night, the magnetic sheets, and some clothing items so people can't see through my skirts.

Too much money! I'd like to buy a pair of denim shorts on eBay, and I emailed the seller asking her if she'd just take the bottom bid now. I obviously don't know much about eBay as she didn't respond and that probably isn't allowed. If there's no bids at the end of the week, I'll bid the bottom price and hopefully that gets the job done AND I won't need to buy another single thing at all for the cruise (except souvenirs on board and maybe one of those KTTW card holders for carrying around the KTTW on the ship and on excursions).
Anything else? Oh yeah, Missy - we were NOT shopping in Polaris last night. I laughed a lot when I read that and pictured you (or how I imagine you look) walking up to some stranger and saying, "DONALDSGAL! JENNY! Small world meeting you here!" I will let you know the next time we go to Columbus so we can see about having a mini-meet before the cruise. Don't know if we'll make it down beforehand. Can we stay at your house the night before the cruise so we can get to the Columbus airport to make our 6 AM flight? I mean, we're FFCers - that means we're practically family!

Don't worry - I am just kidding.
Oh, DSis got tickets at her work for the Indians game this Sat night - 21 rows directly behind home plate on field level! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!! I'm very pumped. I love pro baseball, and it'll be fun to have such great seats. Her work gets seats for clients, and when no clients are in town, they get to have a pool. the seats are always good, but this will be the first time sitting behind home plate!
Wow - long post. Off to bed. Keep your ears open for jobs for Jenny and eyes open for boys for her too!
Again Jen - great great site.
