The Castle Stage has been in the center for a long time.

Even before Cindererdererererelllalalalllabrationtion you had to walk around the edges of the stage and thru the castle when the show was not going on.

Agreed. However, I do wish they would remove the stage. I think it sort of makes the castle look smaller.

What was the surprise celebration like?

Cinderella's Surprise Celebration (or CSC) was a good show. It basically was Cinderella having a bunch of friends over to the castle (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Donald, and Belle, Snow White, the Beast, and Snow Prince). There are some presents delievered. All of a sudden the Hag from Snow White appears and delivers a bad gift. The gifts are opened one by one when Donald opens the bad one by mistake. Villians arrive and try to crash the party when heros arrive to save the day. So good conquers all in the end.

(There could never be such a show... I HOPE!)

We think that the "Cinderella's Surprise Celebration" is coming back.

It is a much more entertaining show to ALL age audiences (boys, girls, adults) than Cinderererellellelleabrabrabation was.

She should LOVE the new show!

I will be there taking pictures as they start work on the castle. I will post them on the DIS for everyone. If they do it like they did when they put the decorations up you will hardly notice the work.

I'll be watching with baited breath... I personally love the castle the way it is right now, but change is good... right?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!

That is NOT EVEN FAIR! I have been there twice when Cinderellebration was going on and I planned on watching it when we went in October. Just last week when we were there and were sitting on the Tommarrowland Terrace and the show was going on, I said I'll be able to get a front row seat in October.

NO NO NO NO NO. I just refuse to beleive it.

we arrive on sept 18, but our first day in MK will be the 19th. it will be interesting to see the work they are doing on the castle. during our stay we will be at MK 3 seperate days. I wonder what the progress will be like especially if it says they will be painting from september until december. I am a little bummed that the decorations will be gone. I was hoping to take a few more pictures of that since last years trip. Oh well...

Most (if not all) of the work will be done at night. If they do it like they did setting up, they will probably have a crane again. That means the pathway between Sir Mickey's and Fairytale Garden will probably be closed.

were going 9/25-9/30 and i hope to see the castle looking "normal". i mean are they going to paint the castle the original color and remove all of the gold decorations put up for hcoe?
