Hi Everyone!

I'm on the Sept 30th cruise but I was at port on Sept 16 and watched your ship come into port in the morning and sail off later in the day. I took a bunch of pictures in case you want to see them. Some of the photos from the afternoon show people on Deck 9, on their verandas and at the the muster drill. Here is the link if anyone is interested. If you would like a bigger copy of an image just pm me.

Hey everyone -

Sitting in the outlook cafe, ordering a martini and looking out at San Diego. We ended up not getting off the ship because the kids wanted to swim and do the kids club. I STILL have to do most all of my FEs too!

So the gift they are giving everyone for this cruise is (spoiler alert) -- a lithgraph of the wonder with Pixar characters. If you get the white Disney Wonder Pixar cruise t-shirts they have on sale on the ship, it is the same picture on hte back of the shirts.

The guest lecturer yesteday was Jay Ward, who is the person who --I can't remmeber the exact title - but he is responsible for kind of overseeing Cars merchandising and marketing to make sure it is homgoenous. His presentaation was about the building of Carsland and was very interesting. Makes me even more excited to go or the first time next week!

Later they did an authograph sessoin.. I have to say, it was a little poorly run, and I hope they learn the next time. I got there about 15 minutes early, thinking there would be a line. But instead they were handing out numbers, and this was the order you would get in line for the autograph signing. This was a good idea actually, and I would have got there 30 minutes early if I had known The bad thing was, no one was "handling" Jay Ward (who was doing the autographing) so ppeople would talk to him ofr like 5 minutes, and he seemed a very friendly guy, so he wasn't moving them along. We had #36 and we didn't get up tehre until 5 (the event started at 4) and I saw people with numbers in the low 100s, so not sure how they were going to finish on time. Oh, BTW, this was only for people who were CC club members and Disney Visa holders.

The other thing was they were selling books and prints. My son - the Pixar expert - told me that Jay Ward only worked on Cars and Monsters Inc, but they were selling Cars, Ratatouilee and UP posters. The CMs selling them told me he woked on all, so I bought my favorite, an UP poster of Dug the dog. But of course, Jay Ward told me he DIND"T work on UP so I dind't have him sighn it.

Okay, that is all the PIXAR related info. AS for the cruise, the food continues to be fantiastic, the service too. Tonight is pirate party.

We are docked right next to the Midway and the Midway museum. Lookes really neat, but too lazy to get off the ship, especially since we have so little time left on this cruise and I love just beingo nt he ship.

Sorry your time is coming to an end! Enjoy your time in Ensenada today and we'll see you tomorrow!

Sigris - What a wonderful picture!! It is now my background on my computer screen.

Hello, Everyone, and welcome back!!!

Well, this was an absolutely "Wonder"ful cruise. Met some great folks. I haven't had a chance to catch up yet but I wanted to say "Thank You" to all of those who participated in the FE gift exchange. I can not believe the creativeness and generosity of all of you DISsers out there.

I haven't had a chance togo through everything yet, but one item I would like to commit on is the "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" mat the we received. That frame inspired us to make sure to have a "couple's" picture taken in San Fran. I will be going through everything this week and post further.

Again, everyone, WELCOME BACK!

For the FE group #1: Thanks for all the great gifts! We had so much fun checking our pockets each day. Our gifts didn't make it to the ship :( I thought they got lost along the way but lo and behold, they were sitting at home. I would like to send them out to everyone (they're cute paperbag scrapbooks!) so please PM me your address!

Wanted to say thank you to everyone for a super fun and super generous FE exchange!!! This was my first Disney Cruise and therefore, my first FE, and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!! :thumbsup2

Sept 30th cruiser here! Hope you all had an amazing trip :) I was just wondering if anyone had Glenford from Jamaica as their assistant server or Geffery from the Phillippines as there head server (may have been promoted to head waiter) ? We had them on the Wonder in January and would love to take them pictures if they are still on board :)

Thank you to everyone that participated in the FE exchange. We were only on list 2 and had so much fun giving and recieving goodies. This was our first cruise and can't wait to do it again. I'm already planning FE goodies for the next time (whenever that turns out to be).

So is anyone else checking cruise prices? I find myself looking to see what deals I can find for the Mexican Riviera in Nov or Dec. Not sure hubby would go for it but maybe if we found a can't pass it up kinda deal we would splurge. Ahh, to dream!!

What a WONDERfully amazing first cruise for our family! We love Pixar as well, so it was a perfect fit. Thanks for the tips and info provided by so many on this forum. Experiencing it all with our son was quite an adventure. We are just about to fly home to AZ tomorrow after 3 days at Disneyland. I think our toddler believes that he lives in the land of Disney now. Sad that it's all coming to an end, but there's always the next trip to look forward to.

We stayed at Westin Long Beach the night prior to the cruise. Super Shuttle, rental car, and cabs for transportation throughout our trip. Stayed in a 6A on the ship, which was lovely but would have enjoyed a plexiglass more than a solid white wall verandah. Miss our view of the ocean from our cabin. Loved our dining team and stateroom host. Service was excellent. All of the crew really do cater to kids and make everything extra special for them. Hard to pick a highlight out of so many, but we loved the shows! All of them were spectacular. Lasseter's presentation was quite fascinating.

In San Francisco, we visited Golden Gate Park, Muir Woods, Alcatraz and Fisherman's Wharf. In San Diego, SeaWorld. We didn't get off the ship in Ensenada, but we did enjoy the view and the sea lions relaxing in the harbor. Took advantage of the nursery only once during the cruise. DS2 loved open hours in Oceaneer's Club.

Will definitely be taking another Disney cruise! They really know how to bring the magic!

We had Glenford at table 57. He was very sweet.
