This vacation can't come soon enough! With all the tests, finals, paperwork and trying to study for the comprehensive exam on the last day that is basically a practice for my state boards.... These 6 more days I have left seem like an eternity. I am beyond the point of exhausted!
Like I said, this vacation couldn't be here soon enough if it was tomorrow.

I'm doing the tinkerbell half marathon in Jan! Couldn't make it to the one this month though

I'll be doing this one as well. I want to maintain my legacy status for Tinkerbell so I will always run this race.

I'm not going through all the same things you are but I was told my work will increase dramatically starting in September so I agree... this vacation couldn't be here soon enough if it was tomorrow.

Congrats!! That's my goal too...but I'm just starting.

Have completed the Wine & Dine 1/2 relay and Everest Challenge. Doing the TofT 10-miler and Wine & Dine 5k this year and Princess 2013 will be my first 1/2...hopefully the first of many. I'll also get in the Castaway Cay 5k in 2013 with a cruise on the Dream. Hoping to do the Coast to Coast in 2014 with Tinkerbell and Wine & Dine.

That's great Susan, I'll be doing the ToT 10-miler as well. In fact by the end of this year I would have completed all of the runDisney's half marathons and 5Ks including a 5K at Castaway Cay.

I am suprised they don't have it online but I have not checked.
Tip if you are going to DCA, seriously get there as soon as it opens to get your FP, they were all given out by 9:00 am. While we did stop at DCA for a few rides we did not do the new cars ride because my kids are too young. It was pretty crowded, but bonus, DLR not too bad at all for an end of summer day. When we left at 5 pm, the lines were booked to get into DCA but barely anyone going into DLR.

Anyone have any guesses as to when we might find out our GTY rooms??

We recently found out ours and we went from 11b to 9a.
They should be sorting them all out soon. Keep checking

Holiday plans are now coming along. For those who didn't know, our TA has been fired and there are reservation numbers we received in our travel docs that are for reservations that weren't even booked =( our new TA the owner of the establishment has worked through the night to try and sort this. The part that reassures me is that A we have flights and B the cruise is booked

Trying to get head around what still needs to be done. Beginning to feel extremely tired as also need to sort out work for while I am away. Very stressful.

Ten days till we go - the children are excited, I just need to get on that plane!

I'm so glad you have sorted everything out! That would be my worst nightmare, especially traveling internationally. I guess one of the advantages to NOT have a TA and booking everything yourself is you are far less likely to get fired from the vacation planning.

Not to worry about it. I have been to DLR and DCA quite a few times and yes, you are correct. DLR is not too bad right now since Carsland opened. I haven't been to DCA since Carsland opened, though and just want a quick look-see on the layout.

We will be staying on site before this cruise, so I plan to arrive early. And I am a Fastpass queen. I've learned how to have about four passes at a time and then we end up practically walking onto most of the rides..

I just love living in Southern California. Can run off to Disneyland almost anytime you want. That is truly becoming my "Happy Place"!

I agree Brenda. I was at DLR and DCA last Friday and I'll be heading back next week for four days at the park. Being at the parks reduces my stress level to zero and reminds me of times when my parents took me to that magical place so many years ago.

We are very excited to meet all of you! A big shout out Thank You to CruiseTink, Susan, for organizing all of the meet ups and FEs.

My two girls started school last week, including my youngest starting kindergarten! We have a few weeks for them to learn the new routines in their classes before the cruise I am hoping to get them to complete a lot of the independant homework before we leave. Wish us luck!

Please share your FP tips. Hubby and I may be going either before or after cruise. Finally going with out the kids so we can actually go on the fast rides. If we do go before, I will be sure to get you a map for DCA. Just not sure when we will be able to do it but need to go before Sept 30th because our passes expire.

I agree too. I call them my "mental health days." I enjoy taking my daughter and waching herexcitement on the very same things I got excited about as a child.
