Sept 11th MNSSHP... who else is going?

We are going to our first ever MNSSHP and it will be the first of the year.

Just curious, how many Disers will be there and what your costume ideas are....

I will start... it is just myself and my da... I don't know what she is planning on wearing yet, but I have been working on mine.

Since I need to use a scooter, I wanted to incorporate it into my costume. I have decided to make the scooter into a bed... I will wear my pjs, robe and slippers.... will have a nightlight and a wheres mickey book on my lap.

I'm going with my DBF (hopefully fiancee by the party night as I know he's going to propose on that trip ) I'm definitely going as tinkerbell as I've got a fairy costume I've hardly used, so we're going to see if we can get a Peter Pan one for him so we match

We will be there on Sept. 11th, for our first MNSSHP too! I've been thinking about my costume for a while, and decided on Peter Pan. I figured it'll be light weight enough, and pretty easy to make. I can't really think of anything else that would be comfortable and wouldn't require heels or big accessories.

My son doesn't know we're going to Disney yet, let alone a Halloween party. I"ll probably end up getting him a costume and surprising him before the party. He's really into Iron Man right now, but lord knows that'll change by the time September rolls around.

Yup! I remember!

I like your costume idea - super comfy! That's been my biggest concern with a costume. I don't want to feel hot or itchy, or inappropriate trying to accomplish either for that matter.

I swore after our horrible MNSSHP experience last year I wouldn't go back but now that I realize we will be there for the 1st party I am thinking about it. Still not sure the crowds were just insane last year, lines horrendous, and the overall organization and how everything was handled by CM's was just a bit much for me but an awesome MVMCP 2 months later almost has me thinking about trying MNSSHP again.

DH and I were Agent P and Dr Doof last year and we got tons of compliments on our costumes. This year if we go I will probably pick something from Once Upon A Time for our theme.

When did you go to MNSSHP? Was it an early party or a late party? Really hoping the crowds wont be so bad at first.

You must have been at the same party as we went to last year!!!

We're going earlier this year so we will also be there September 11th. We are doing a party the following week too, but since this may be our last Fall trip for a while and having done two last year, I think we could use a second party night so September 11th is our other choice too. Not decided on costumes yet. DD has always dressed up - I never have, but I might just break that habit and dress up this year
