Sept. 11, 2011 It's never too early to Dream

Go to portcanaveralwebcam.com. The Dream is holding some rescue drills in the port area. Lowering the life boats and driving them around. Interesting to watch.

DW and I watched the Dream sail away from Port Canaveral this evening after she got home from work. Sure was allot of fun seeing her sail out - but it is going to be even funner when we all are on board sailing away!!! If I'm not mistaken - the Dream is on a 4 day cruise now. That puts her coming back into Port Canaveral this Saturday morning and sailing out again Saturday evening. So everyone mark your calendars!!!!

Just FYI, I was playing online with my reservations... and noticed that there were LOTS of openings for Palo dinners (about 5) and Remy dinners (about 7), and even 1 Palo Bruch opening!

This was at 11:15pm Friday 1st!

Hopes this helps some of you that are looking or patiently waiting for a ressie

Must be nice to be retired David Everytime I saw one of you updates I went to check out that web cam but kept missing what you saw, I was getting to it just too late. Oh well, Sept will be here soon enough and I can tell my DH to watch us sail away on the Dream by watching that web cam

This will be our first cruise. Everyone is excited. Me,DH, and DS 2,7,and 10. Would love to meet up with everyone.

Our cabin number is 10580. We would like to particpate in the FE. I just joined the meet today. So I will have alot of reading to do to catch up with everyone. And this is my first cruise and first meet. So I have a lot to learn . We have a deluxe ocean view famimy room w verandah. I love Disney world so much. And thanks to the disboards I am becoming an expert. But the cruise I am still clueless. It is harder to find out tips for the cruise. We booked a room at the comfort inn in bahamas. I was told I will have all the benefits of atlantis. The kids are excited to go to the waterpark. I am still unsure of what to pack. the dress code for dinner is making packing difficult. I wasnt planning on bringing any long pants. Or dress shoes for the boys. We are driving to florida from pgh,so I would like to pack as little as possible to save room in the car.

For the FE, I'll need your email address to be able to email you the master list once it's ready, so you'll know where to deliver gifts to, and the names of your travel party and ages of any children so others know who they are giving to and in the case of children, do age appropriate gifts. First off let me everyone who just joined us on the cruise. Glad ya'll can be sailing with us on the Dream!!!! This is going to be one GREAT time onboard this beautiful ship!!!

Everyone, go to portcanaveralwebcam.com The Dream is in port this morning. This webcam has the best view of the Dream. There is also a RCCL ship in port this morning too. You can see both ships very clearly at this webcam. The Dream is by far the best looking ship!!! The Dream will be pulling out this evening around 5:00pm or so. Last week when DW and I watched her pull out it was around 5:15pm. After she pulled away from the dock, she sat there for about 5 minutes or so. DW and I guessed that there must have been another ship leaving at the same time and the Dream had to wait for that ship to get going.
