Sept. 11, 2011 It's never too early to Dream

Well, I watched the first hour and 15 min. of the game tonight, and I just CAN'T watch anymore. I forbid my DS17 to turn this tv on again. (he can finish watching the game on his ity bity tv in his room). My Gosh I love the Sens', but those Penguins sure are good tonight. If I awake in the morning and find out that some miracle happened after the TV went off, well, that would be utterly amazing, buuuuut, I won't hold my breath.
Maybe now Mike Fisher and Carry Underwood will set a wedding date and give us something else to look forward to (Sen's related anyway).

Oh, by the way, DS17 was Quite MAD when he found out there would be no road test yesterday, (and even then "Quite Mad" doesn't begin to describe his tantrum), but after a meeting with the schools VP and "P", and a little lesson on what Fraud is, he's been VERY Quiet, lol. I think he "Gets" it now, and as far as those report card marks go, the "P" assured him, those are just mid symester marks and count for only 30% of his final mark. They told him to stop Cruising, and get those marks up. The VP did laugh and say, "he's not a bad kid, because in 6 years at the school, this is the first time he's been in this office!" (school goes from 7 to 12).

Oh, I love my kids, and sometimes I can't wait for them to be parents too, just so they get what we do! (But that "Can't wait" thought is ever so brief!)

I hope everyone is having a great day today. It's Wednesday, middle of the week, only two more days to go until the week-end. Then it's paaaaaaaarta time!!!!!!:cool1::thumbsup2:banana: Except for us lucky ones who have to mow our grass on the week-ends, then it's wooooooooork time!!!:scared1: Like you Donna, it seems like I just get the ol' mower back in the garage..........turn around and the grass has grown 2 inches!!!! We are having a wetter spring then usual down here. Spring is normally dry in Florida. So all of this rain is helping everything grow just that much better. Oh well, I enjoy getting outside and working around the house. I like it allot more then sitting at my desk at work, locked up inside.........and not seeing the light of day!!!!
Everyone have a great day today.:woohoo::woohoo:

The travel documents for this cruise, the booking I made as my moms gift, arrived today! Gonna wrape it up and give it to her at Christmas!

This evening I did some shopping for FE gifts for the kids on our upcoming Magic Cruise. DS6 wore his ``Cruising the Wonder With Mickey`` shirt that I had made him for our Cruise last fall, to school. He was Quite proud to be wearing it again, and Apparently he spent a lot of time at school telling eveyone about the shirt and that he went on that Ship that is on the shirt. He asked me today when we will cruise again. All in good time, I said, All in good time. Don`t know if he knew what that meant (heck I don`t know if it made sense in that scenario either, but it sounded good), but he did stop asking. My kids have no clue about our Magic cruise this fall, we plan on breaking it to them the day we leave :)
So now I`m off to bed to dream of cruising!
Hope tomorrow is good for everyone!

Wow................hey everybody we go us a newbe here in Sue. It's her first cruise ever!!! Sue you are going to love it. DW and I kept putting cruising off thought it wasn't for us..........thought we might get the ol' dreaded sea sickness..............and many other excuses we could think of not to go cruising. Well, WE LOVE IT!!!!!! Once we gave it a try we can't tear ourselves away. And the Disney ships are the ABSOLUTE BEST SHIPS AFLOAT!!!! You are going to love everything about cruising and the Disney Cruise Line.
Well, I have to get busy here at work now. Hope ya'll have a great day. Talk to you again real soon.:woohoo:

Hi Ho ya'll. There has been a lull in the ol' work schedule, so I am writing to you in between work assignments. If that ol' crazy bossman gets wind of this I might be in trouble.:scared1::sad2: So be vewy, vewy quite.
Is EVERYBODY HAPPY!!! I mean, are you having a good day today!!! I know I sure am. Going on a cruise in October this year, and then going on the Dream next September. It can't get any better then that!!!:woohoo::yay::banana:
Come everyone, I want to hear how excited ya'll are!! Come on now........don't be bashful.
Well, the ol' bossman just came in with some very important work for me to do. He said I was just the man for the job. I'm climbing to new heights here at work.......................I get to change the light bulb in the ceiling in his office.:headache:::mad::headache: I'm starting to feel a little:sick:just about now!!!! Talk to all later!!!! (Somebody hold that ladder still for me willya!!!)

I'm home with sick kids today, and a nasty headache myself! Can't wait for the weekend (I get to sleep in!)

David, are you cruising with Disney This fall? We too are cruising in October, Our 1st MAGIC cruise! I'm totally excited about that. Been dreaming a lot of STRANGE dreams lately. Last night I was dreaming of Pirate Treasure maps! Probably because I plan on making one for my boys. We're going to set up a pirate treasure hunt for them as a way to reveal the trip. We'll do the whole thing the day we are to leave. Thus they dig up their treasure which tells them they are to get into the van NOW because they are headed to Port Canaveral to Cruise Aboard the Disney Magic!

Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL weather! My Garden is full of tuplips which all opened up, beautiful colors, Hot out, Blue sky, Sunshine. Then I wake up today and it's ACTUALLY SNOWING OUT!!!!! :scared1: Nothing that stayed on the ground though. But it was probably that darn snow that brought about my headache, yah I'll blame it on that!

So did you get that light bulb changed, or do you need some help with that? :rotfl2:

Stupid ol' bossman thought he had to turn the ladder while I held onto the bulb!!!!! Everybody knows - once I get up there and get ahold of that light bulb - you're suppose to grab ahold of my legs and turn me!!!!

Wish we were going on a Disney Cruise this fall.:sad2: We are going on Royal Caribbean's new ship the Oasis of the Seas in October. :thumbsup2 Psssssssstttt.........lean in alittle closser.............anyone listening..............I would rather be cruising with Disney. The Oasis looks like a very nice ship, but we really enjoy sailing with Disney. We thought we would just check this one out for a little change up. But when DW and I start talking about cruising we always talk about sailing on the Disney ships, and how excited we are about going on the new Disney Dream, and then on the Fantasy when it comes out the next year.

TJ, sorry to hear you have sick ones at home. And, sorry to hear you have a headache. I hate headaches!!! Sometimes during the summer down here if I am outside all day working, mowing, trimming hedges and so on, I'll get a whooper of a headache. The only thing that helps is to lie down with a towel over my eyes for awhile.

Well, better go, everyone have a great day.

Glad you got that lightbulb changed without any work place accidents happening!
As for Oasis of the Seas, you'll have to tell us all about it once you've experienced it! I can't imagine cruising on anything other than Disney, but I'm sure DH will pull me somewhere else someday (he's always talking about it cost wise).

Well during the kids quiet time today (from 1-3 is quiet time where the little ones nap and if bigger ones are home from school sick, they nap too), I did up some graphics for our Magic Cruise and Dream Cruise. I made those Pirate maps, and a pirate letter for their surprise this fall. DONE! And laundry, got a lot of that done too (family of 6, it just NEVER ENDS!) I think I'm going to need a new laundry machine soon though, Mine's making funny noises! Errgghhh! Finally packed away all the freshly laundered Winter Hats, mitts and scarves. That headache of mine is still there but barely. I took some Advil, other than a good sleep, thats the only other thing that will help any. Oh and drinking lots of water too!
My 6 year old I think is turning into a Hypochondriac though. He's grabbing the Thermometer and checking his temp every 15- 20 minutes. I took it away from him around lunch time. I'm mom, a mom can tell when there's a fever or not WITHOUT a Thermometer!

So although the whole of today hasn't been enjoyable, I DID get a lot accomplished, which makes it a day well spent. :)

Hey TJ, since you are going on your Disney Cruise this Fall, could I ask a favor. Could you take some photos you wouldn't mind sharing with us of the Disney Terminal and on Castaway Cay. I would like to see the new construction they have completed on these. I keep searching for someone to post photos but haven't seen any as of yet. Thanks.

Absolutely! I didn't get good pictures last fall outside the terminal as it was all under construction. Hopefully all those boards, fences and scaffoldoing are gone now so I can get a great shot! I'm a picture taker, so will have LOTS I can post after.

Once checked into the terminal, is there a balcony area one can step out onto to take photos? I've seen somone post a photo recently that looked like that. It was outsidet the Disney Terminal and you could see another Cruise ship in the background far off. I don't recall though seeing from where in the terminal, that would have been.

Well TJ, as for the Oasis, I have to be honest with you I'm more excited about sailing on this Disney Cruise on the Dream:cool1::banana: then I am sailing on the Oasis. (Deep down I think DW is too.) But I guess everyone should experience new things every now and then. The Oasis is suppose to have some pretty great shows on board, that we will absolutely be checking out. And, yes I will let everyone know all about this ship, and post some photo's too.

Thanks:worship::worship: TJ in advance for taking the photo's of the Disney Terminal and of Castaway Cay. From everything I've read Castaway Cay is suppose to be finished with it's updates this summer. So, it will be ready for you and your family this fall. Not sure about the terminal though.

I know what you are talking about............I think............on the balcony at Disney's Terminal. After passing security, and you go up the escalator (spelling???) and you see that big wall of glass and you can see the ship. Walk up to the wall of glass, pass the Mickey ears you go thru to board, there are two double doors......one set on each end..........you can go out on the balcony and view the ship. I got some nice photo's of our granddaughter Emily:cutie: there with the ship's name in the background. I'll post a photo of it this evening when I get home from work. You can also see some of the other ships docked. When we were there last time we saw one of Royal Caribbeans ships, and the time before that, one of Carnival's ships was in port.

Well, I can see by the ol' clock on the wall, it's time for me to start working. Everybody have a great day today. :cheer2:

TJ here are a couple of photo's I promised yesterday. I tried to post them yesterday evening, but no luck. See if I have better luck today.

The first one is that wall of glass I talked about, and the Mickey Ears you walk thru to board your ship. That's granddaughter Emily hamming it up for her picture. On either side of that wall of glass there is a set of double doors you can go out onto a balcony and view your ship close up, and take some photos. The second one is of our granddaughter Emily out on that balcony with the Wonder in the background.
