WooHoo! It is official! Congrats on being semi-retired!

My DD (12) just ask if there were any girls her age on the disboards going on our cruise. I told her that I thought there were two so far. She is looking forward to meeting them. I think she wasn't too sure about the Edge at first. But we have seen more pics plus the thought of meeting some friends...it is starting to sound better.

What will you be doing 7 months from now? Woo Hoo!Time is flying!

Yep! My DD12 will be there. If you want to put the girls in touch before the cruise, just PM me.

I just wanted to let all my friends and fans out there....................(I got fans................GAAAAARRRSH). Today is my last full working day. Officially I will be semi-retired at 4:00pm TODAY!!! Next week I start working here at the same ol' place, but it will be just 3 days a week and those will be short days. I will officially be a man of leisure after today.

Thanks everyone on your congrats for my semi-retirement!!!! It is a GREAT feeling just knowing I don't have to go into work tomorrow morning. I can get use to this man -o- leisure very easily!!! (Of course DW is not as excited about it as much as I am...........she is going to continue working!!!!!)

Well guys DW is hollering......I mean bellowing........nonononono that ain't right...........she is calling to me in that sweet voice of hers that it is time for me to get on the ol' torture machine contraption and do my excercises. I'll talk to ya'll again real soon. Have a Great Day today!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!! We just got back home from a wonderful trip to the mountains of northern Spain (Picos de Europa) about 250 miles north of Madrid. We had an amazing weekend and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the snow covered mountains. We stayed at our favorite hotel called 'Hotel del Oso' , we have been staying at the same hotel since 1989 and it is the perfect place to relax and recharge one's batteries. I thought I would share a few photos with you all, hope you guys enjoy them.

That is a very contraption on the front tire. Is that something for driving on ice? It actually looks like slippery plastic!

Yes, they are called Autosocks, and work as fine as snow chains on icy or snowy roads. They are easier to use and take much less space in the trunk. When I took the photo I had just stopped to remove them because road was clear of snow from that point.

Thank you tessasmom for the congrats on my semi-retirement. I'm still working part-time at my ol' place. Today is my second day, and it ain't too awful bad. In all honesty, the day seems to fly by. I come in later then everyone else in the morning......................and I leave before everyone else leaves in the afternoon. (If only I could do this from home................that would even be better yet!!!)

Well, guys, we have this 4 day portion of our B2B cruise paid in full. And the 3 day portion is not far off from being paid for.............about this time next month should do it. Sure do feel good getting that taken care of.

I hope everyone is having a GREAT week-end. Looks like my weekly mowing of the ol' yard is going to have to start this week-end. Should have done it last week-end, but I was just plain ol' lazy and didn't do it. Now it is going to take me longer because it is so much taller!!!

But first on the agenda, DW has me doing my excercises. I know, I know, it is for my own good, good for the ol' ticker, keeps me in shape, helped me lose a bunch of unwanted pounds. I am in much better shape then I was just a little over a year ago. But it ain't fun, it seems too much like work, and I can think of a million other things I'd rather be doing!!! (Laying on the couch, sleeping, eating, and if only I could get DW to feed me those grapes!!!! That ain't happenin.)

Happy President's Day weekend, everyone! We are spending the long weekend at Kidani Village (arrived Wednesday night and depart Tuesday morning). Today we are heading into the Magic Kingdom for my 3 year old son to see his girl Cinder-Lella.

We are SO looking forward to the cruise!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Monday!!!

DW and I decided to change up things a little this time before the cruise. In the past we have always stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort. It kinda sorta got us in the mood for the Caribbean Cruise we were about to take. But this time we decuided to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Haven't stayed there in a while, and we do like it there. So we are spending two nights before we set sail on the Dream at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I made our reservations this morning. Got a nice Florida residents rate too!!!
