We've had 7631 for most of our Magic cruises and they were wonderful!

Our experience has been forward, mid and aft. We both prefer forward, especially because of deck 5. Mid is great but busier. Aft we had a navigators veranda upgrade at port on last years Med cruise. I loved the style cabin and fresh air. I did not like the constant vibrating that comes from aft locations. I was really sick with a horrific cough so ended up spending a lot of time on board in my room. Just my personal preference. There is much more rocking forward but it doesn't seem to affect us.

Wondering if anyone has had a cabin in the front of the ship before.. We have always had a cabin in the middle of the ship, I'm alittle nervous about the rocking of the ship. I don't want to be

We had a stateroom very close to the front of the ship during last years Westbound Transatlantic. We never experienced any problems with the movement of the ship, and wouldn't hesitate to have a room there again. It also made popping up to the snack bars and drinks station on deck 10 very quick and easy.

yeah i couldnt decide between deck 5 aft or deck 6 forward. went for deck 6 in the end as we tend to go to the bars on deck 3 quite a bit and thought it'd be easier to go down three decks and be there, rather than two decks and have to walk to the other end of the ship....

We always go forward, either deck 6 or 7. Never had any trouble with bad sea sickness due to the ship rocking and I am very prone to it. Dramamine are amazing !!

We love that end of the ship as it is handy for:-

Quiet Cove pool - quick to nip up and down to the room
Walt Disney Theatre - just a couple of flights of stairs early evening
Rockin Bar D / Sessions - a few flights of stairs home

always works well for us

The weather and seas were fantastic last year, I only needed one dramamine which I think was at Madeira when that storm was behind us one evening and the ship was a bit rocky (or it could have been the previous sea day) but it didn't last long anyway

We were originally allocated 5 aft when we re-booked to get the MEO discount, but then 6 forward became available and we jumped at the chance to move there

Good morning All-----another rainy day here in SF Bay Area. I'm working in the church nursery this morning. It's great therapy working with those babies. I was SO thankful all those years my four boys were watched over.

Curt and I serve in our church nursery as well - babies under 12 months.

That is reassuring to hear, Sarah!! We've been forward, mid, and extreme aft, but never on the Magic and never Transatlantic!

That's us on our cruises where we were aft... always easy access to bring beverages (or a morning plate of goodies) back downstairs easily. The only reason we went forward this time was for the sideways inside cabins, but on our wedding cruise, we were the first cabin forward of the pool deck, which was such great access! I think our favorite cabin location was an aft mini-suite directly over the wake when doing Inside Passage for Alaska. Could stand on the balcony and look left/right to see both sides easily, especially when going through the glacier areas.

A travel agent did try to coerce me to take the aft, as it would be more prone to bumpiness up front... but I think it's all hit or miss. I remember some ships with aft cabins where we could feel the thrusters (??) or something.

Either way, I feel so happy and blessed to be able to be ON the ship!
