At the rate we're going, we'll have to start a new thread in a few weeks (250 posts to a thread).

A part 2 how exciting :woohoo:

I think you do a grand job auntlynne, keep up the good work.:worship:

oooooh! There's a new scrapbooking store opening in Alpharetta this weekend! Wish I was there.

LindaBabe, please tell me where the scrapbooking store is opening...I'll go check it out and let you know what I find. :thumbsup2

:cool1::cool1::cool1:Wanted to do the happy dance...So excited for the cruise that I could bust:cheer2::cheer2::banana::banana::yay::yay:

Me, too; perhaps more than I am for the upcoming Alaska.

Changed my hotel to the Universal; feel better knowing that there are other DISers around (as I am traveling solo). And I rechecked where the Hotel U232 was - way over toward the Olympic Village - don't know what I was thinking - read that it was near Holy Family - didn't pay to attention to which :rotfl: Holy Family - it's not the Cathedral downtown.

I now have airfare to get me from home - to London - to DLP - to Barcelona & a boat to Florida. Making progress.

Wanted to do the Eurostar from London - DLP, but I would end up in DLP later in the day and spend more $$ so doing.

Just wanted to jump in and post below my friend Linda. I am late to sign on, and have so much reading to do on the cruise and its ports. This is my retirement gift to myself after 34 yrs in education. Look forward to connecting with many of you. Caroline :teacher:

Welcome aboard, Caroline!! And many congrats for your retirement in such a noble profession!! :thumbsup2 I taught 12 years (grades 6 thru junior college) and this is my first year staying home (but I'm volunteering a half-day each week at the local middle school). The cruise will be an awesome retirement gift!!

Welcome aboard Caroline! :wave: Congratulations on your retirement.

Mum was taken into hospital yesterday with breathing difficulties, all tests so far are good but they will keep her in for a few days for observation, she of course is worried that the cruise might be cancel, but we have 6 months to go so told her not to worry, we will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and 82nd birthday on the Magic, she just has to work on getting better.

Burnice

I hope your Mum gets better soon so they can enjoy their celebrations on board :)

Just noticed you are from Perth, my DD best's friend is emigrating to Perth on Monday and also one of my friend's emigrated there in 2010, must be a lovely place as we are losing losts of friends to your part of the world :)

:cheer2::cheer2: So Excited!!! :cheer2::cheer2:
:cheer2: We just bought our flight to Barcelona!!! :cheer2:
One-way airfares are so very expensive :scared1:, but we got lucky and found a good rate tonight on a non-stop ATL-BCN! We are leaving a day earlier than planned:woohoo:, but it all worked out! Hooray!
Now I feel like this is really happening. :thumbsup2

Fantastic :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

It's called "Zumba Fitness." They have it for some other gaming systems, too. It's a lot of fun, and a pretty good workout.

Excellent, DD has got Zumba on pre-order for a present waiting for its release in the UK on 1st April. We can't wait to try it out together and shape up for all this cruising :cool1:

What a nice dilemma Jan. I am a bit like that, I don't know if I want to go back to CA in 2012 or not.

I think we all wish DCL would hurry up and annouce whether the Magic will be back next year. If it is, we are staying in Europe, if not, we will be doing LV, DL and probably a Mexican Riviera cruise :thumbsup2

Hi and welcome to our happy band of cruisers.:wave:

Walking into a scrapbook store is SO therapeutic to me........it's like ahhhhhhhh:)

I have exactly the same effect when I walk into a Disney Store here in the UK ..... I can be harrassed on the busy high street and then I step into the Disney store and immediately feel better ... just the background music and the atmospere makes me feel instantly revived :cloud9:

Welcome aboard Caroline ... after 34 years teaching you definitely deserve this cruise.

Happy Friday :woohoo: 175 days !!! doesn't sound like much when you put it like that does it. No sun shining here though ... you must be keeping it all to yourself up north.

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Caroline! you showed up! Welcome :)

It is too early in the US to be awake!! I just fed our little one... and figured I'd quietly read the boards while hubby is still snoozing. The one morning we can sleep late with no alarm... and I can't sleep! :eek:

I love the quote above for 175 days! :cool1: I finally bought a wall calendar for DD (age 4) so we can do a countdown on it. Target had some things on clearance, including a Mickey Mouse notebook so maybe I can start printing out info/pics and let her be a part of the planning. :thumbsup2

The sun is shining here too, the daffodils are starting to bloom, it's beginning to look a lot like spring time here:banana:

A 175 day dance sounds good.:dance3::dance3:

Hi Mandy :thumbsup2

I have heard of some people making a paper chain for the number of days or weeks to go ... one link per day or week. Then each day or week your little one can take a chain off the link. Definitely a cute idea if you have a little one.
