So Excited!!!
We just bought our flight to Barcelona!!!
One-way airfares are so very expensive , but we got lucky and found a good rate tonight on a non-stop ATL-BCN! We are leaving a day earlier than planned, but it all worked out! Hooray!
Now I feel like this is really happening.

Aargh! I think I must not have airfare (good) karma right now. I priced my Huntsville - ATL - JFK flight the other day @ $198; today it is up $50. Now, instead of paying $98 + 10K miles, I ended up cashing in 25K miles - no $ (Delta). Then it's JFK - Frankfurt $426 (Singapore) and Frankfurt - Heathrow 180 euros (upgraded to Club Europe - bigger seats - for 110 euros)(British Airways).

And I still have to get to Barcelona from London or DLP.

At least my airfare isn't as much as cruise price, yet. However, it is pushing the cost of last year's EBTA fare ($799 - we were past PIF date when they dropped it to $699).

Thinking my niece and I will do a weekend break in Bath Sep 2-4, then off to DLP - Eurostar here I come.

Wow, you guys sure do talk alot! Isn't there anybody that has a bit of a love for recapping? We actually did a weekly recap on a previous roll call. Started out of some kidding around, but it worked like a charm for everybody that didn't have the option to be on the DIS 24/7 and thus miss like most of the action. ...

I knew I had read this somewhere - hence the week in review. I couldn't take credit for being that creative when the idea was in my head from having read it.

hi, karen that was myself, i have exchanged email addresses with leanne, mayb others would prefer a kids thread too so younger kids could join in with parents help, i know there is not many kids on board so i dont know how active it would be.

Karen, sounds as though you had a great time in Singapore, we will be stopping off there for a week before going the cruise, cannot wait for the food feast while we are there.

you'll love singapore, have you been there before? some of the best places to eat arent even the posh restaurants, theyre the little hawker stall food centres. man, i wish i was back there, i miss GOOD chinese food.....

Actually DH doesn't want our daughter to be on a thread. To young, to trusting. Maybe those of us parents could just do email exchanges.

The alarmist in me is wondering about labeling a thread "kids only." Might attract the wrong sort, if you know what I mean. (I think I watch too many shows about Internet predators.)

DH and I had a great time in Bath years and years and YEARS ago. Loved it. We would have loved to stay longer but our main goal was the Roman Baths....awesome! Hope you have a wonderful week-end there before the cruise!

oooooh! There's a new scrapbooking store opening in Alpharetta this weekend! Wish I was there.

Walking into a scrapbook store is SO therapeutic to me........it's like ahhhhhhhh I worked in my girlfriend's store for a couple of years part time. It was the most FUN job I ever had. Opening boxes of new shipments and pricing and putting on shelves. I bought so much. Let's just say my paycheck always went right back into the store. The discount helped
