I went to M&S on Saturday to buy one last small item I needed and came home with 3 more dresses now have to completely re-think my packing list

Mind you, I do have all the dresses in, chargers, some toiletries and the bottle of Baileys and it's at 13 kg, so I have 10 kg to go.... fingers crossed

Mary do you want to come down and pack my case... or just tell me what your secret is

Well I certainly hope it isn't though I bet the op is nothing like it used to be so there would still be hope.

Does anyone know if there's a smiths weights machine in the magic gym, or do they have free weights. Also besides spin do they do any circuits style classes

They definitely have free weights, but they might also have this machine b/c there are several machines in the gym. I didn't do circuit training last year on the EBTA, but some of the classes on last year's navigators are just billed "Fitness Class" so there could be circuit training.

We are doing the same thing. Have told DD that we won't be going to CC and if we do then it's a bonus.

Yeah, I love CC as much as the next diser, but I'd rather not get my hopes up!

If anyone visits and wants a great steak, I highly recommend!
I've only been eating red meat maybe once or twice a month since being on Weight Watchers. I went all out yesterday with a center cut filet oscar (topped with a crab cake and bernaise sauce), a baked sweet potato with all the brown sugar, butter and pecans, and a huge slice of pecan pie for dessert! Brought most of the pie home, and finished some more of it last night!

Happy Birthday!!!! I love Taste of Texas! That meal sounds absolutely divine.

I'm saving my bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum for the duty free shop, just in case I can't manage to get it anywhere once we board. I wasn't looking for it last year in Morrisons in Gib, so couldn't say whether they stock it or not.... I can't go 2 weeks without some spicy and coke

I think the superlite 3 kg suitcase helps but please bear in mind I have no shoes in there yet...... there's at least (at the very least) 12 pairs to go in

The hand luggage is only half full, so there may be some shoes going in there

we have 8pm on night 7, a trade would be awesome man the disboards are awesome!

we'll have to sort out a time to both be online at the same time so one can cancel and the other snag it as soon as it appears and the other way round. or is there an easier way to do it?

Don't do it now ....wait until you board and then both go to Customer Services and tell them you are swopping. Don't risk losing your bookings.

Actually, customer service can not do it... You do need to go to Palo's to do it. or the RBD, there will be Palo's people there at 1pm. I would however just go to Palo's sometime before the first night you have booked and swap them.

Have just had a thought and needed some advice. I had my hair cut quite short and have just been wondering what to do with it on formal nights to look vaguely girly (ish). I know in the salon you can make appointments for hair preening!!!! But is this something to do as soon as you board to secure an appointment???

Don't usually have to think of such girly things but needs must!!

I got my hair done last year for the second Formal night. I agree, if you dash straight to the spa and make your appointment before you go for lunch, the appointments go like hot-cakes especially for the formal night. You can't book them online beforehand

FYI I was $50 for a wash and blow dry, but it did look amazing there may be different prices for lengths of hair, etc as he did take a while to do mine. Alex was on the Magic for years and was a great hairdresser, but I bumped into him in early August on my Dream cruise, so if anyone was looking out for him especially, he's not there

I had my hair done on the Magic in Sept. Mine is a little long and they charged $80 to curl it. No wash or anything else. It didn't look so good either ... I agree with the others about using sparkle in your hair.

Why does everyone think the Pub Crawl and Champagne Girls meet is the same day? As far as Page 1 says Champagne Girls meet is 9/13 at 3:00 PM and the Pub Crawl is 9/15 at 1:00 PM. Is this not correct?

Definitely, I like it because I can drink it with coke. I am usually a G&T kind of girl, but buying 2 weeks worth of tonic water from Morrisons and carrying it to the ship might be a bit of a chore, so I stick with a drink that I can use coke

I'm not a hard liquor person and can't drink vodka or the like (unless it is in the cocktail of the day and very disguised lol) but spicy is very sweet and easy to drink, I think you may like it
