The Magic Pub Crawl 2011


Chris&Jeremy and I (Cliffy97 - Dan & Bruce) are hosting the Magic Pub Crawl.

This will be held on: Thursday 15 September @ Starting at 13:00 - 17:00.

The Route for the crawl will be:

Diversions <----- Start point and initial meeting place
Rockin Bar D
Promenade Lounge
Signals
Cove Cafe


Those who are interested would meet in Diversions (Deck 3 Forward and Beat Street area) for (Traditionally a half pint pounded but as this is a big group I would suggest a drink of your choice) and then visit (Crawl) every other bar on the ship at least once.

As we do not have to worry about anything closing or how we are getting home, I would imagine we can spend 20-30 convivial minutes at each location versus the 5-10 min you have on the monopoly pub crawl in London.


Also, Please remember that you do not have to sign up and you may join for all or part. Really the more the merrier. The sign up is really just more for us to see who will be with us

My sister and I are seriously considering changing our flight to fly in Sept. 9th. If we stay at the Marriott Airport where a few are staying, would it be OK for us to hook up with someone going to the Hard Rock meet? We don't feel all that comfortable wandering around Barcelona just the two of us. Please let me know. Thanks

Realized it would get CLOSED at some point when the moderators noticed we had reached 250 pages - and since they didn't notice we had started that thread until page 200+, I figured I had some time. Went to hit QUOTE so I could copy something out of a post and noticed there was no QUOTE button. No worries, just means I can't copy pictures from posts.

I've also noticed you can't search a thread once it's locked (or maybe that's just me). I finished reading through the end of Thread 5 and didn't need the QUOTE option again, so it was fine - I was just surprised they got on with it so fast. No worries.

We've had a fun week so far on the Boards; won't be long now until we meet.

Well I had a hysterectomy early, I was about 30. Sometime after we visited my MIL. Granted I have always had a bit of a rounded tum but I was at the slimmer end of my normal size just then. But she looked at me and said "you're not pregnant again are you" with a silly smile on her face. Erm. Ever felt like slapping someone. Hysterectomy, pregnant?

Our visits more often than not began with 'you've put on some weight'. Which was right, but no need to say it.

I will gladly pay you for doing it. I am in Germany now and have no access to a printer, much less know where or how to find magnetic paper!

Hello Thread 6!!!!! Good morning happy cruisers!!


I asked DH too check my iPhone countdown app this morning as it was next to him charging, of course I know how many days we have left but he has been really busy at work. So he picks it up and looked at it, then looked at me all puzzled and said it must be wrong it says 15 days??? I just laughed and said IT'S RIGHT!!!!!! At which point he let out a big cheer.

When I opened part 5 this morning, I realised that we reached the 250 pages. And that the reply button was gone.
So no reply's anymore of the treads of last night.
But Noel, it is great the pdf- files. I can print but also set on the computer/iPad. And I bring a usb stick and mobile hard disk with me with the information.

They are all nice, but I liked this one the most.
Perhaps you should add your cabinnumber on it. It is easier to get it back to you at the end of the cruise.

12 more days at work until we leave!!!

It occured to us both last night that we really now need to get everything organised before we leave. I have started having dreams that i get on the cruise and forgot to buy cat food, didnt take my fe gifts maybe i should call them nightmares!!

Guess I'd better get busy - I picked up a job for this weekend, working at the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook show. That'll cut into my DisBoard time

thanks but my problem is I do not even have a printer! i am traveling and am in Germany right now staying in a one room attic room in an old farm house - I am lucky just to have internet now. There is a heat wave here right now, in the 90's, no air conditioning and just a small fan we borrowed, and no ICE!!! That part is killing me as I eat ice all the time - we also have no TV but that is not a problem so far (been here almost a week), but the ice - that is another story!!! I wanted a German expeirence living here and lets just say I am getting it - I am enjoying my time here but am looking forward to boarding the Magic!
