QUOTE=nick262;42291004]This is from the post I made earlier today stating that they were taking private reservations as Disney did not book the entire ship. Our families are going on the same tour. You can find more information on it at http://www.madeirapirateboat.com/ if you are interested.

Thanks Nickole, I had not looked into this at all, now I shall. Thanks again.:thanks:

I have a Prince and Princess to "rent".

:thumbsup2

My husband isn't too worried about joining us on a tea, so I'm guessing I can take 3 people? If anyone wants to come with us, can you PM me? My 2 year old girl and 6 year old boy would love some company!

I sent you a PM. Thanks so muchprincess:

It's sitting in the closet ready to go - trying not to wear it so I don't get anything on it. :lmao:

This cracked me up!! I dare not wear any of the white T-shirts (Mickey Mouse club, WBTA 2011 logo, etc) even for a SECOND as make-up, mustard, or black oil will fling itself across the room and stick to the shirt permanently! BTW, I can be counted on to have not one but TWO Tide pens on me at any given time as I am a walking stain attractor. You can "read" all my tops to see what I had for breakfast, lunch, snack, etc

Thanks for the memory jog - Tide to Go is going on the shopping list!

Please consider us for the Prince/Princess tea. (Krystyne and Angeline). We missed out on the EBTA and wanted to go so much. Angeline is hoping to be a youth activities counselor on DCL as soon as she turns 21. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out :)

The chair saving thing is a big pet peeve of mine. Hopefully it is enforced. I can save a few passive aggressive comments for those who choose to do this, though...my snarky comments go everywhere with me. Even on vacation!

I have a solution for this, we will only save chairs by the pool and in the theatre for our dis and facebook friends :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Same here! When I was teaching, I always managed to wear a white blouse/sweater/top when the cafeteria was serving spaghetti. I finally gave up and stuck napkins in my collar like a bib. Kept me mostly clean. My Tide pen is already in my toiletry kit.

Well, I just got home from a rotten shift at work. I may be down to one job tomorrow - because at this point in my life, nobody bullies me. Oh well, it was a stinky job, anyway. I'll still have my job with the groomer, which is more fun - and pays better. Okay, pity party over now.

Useful information about taxi services in Barcelona
◦Weekend nights have a surplus of 2.10 €.
◦Each piece of luggage will mean a charge of 1 €.
◦If you are getting a taxi by phone, you can expect the taxicab to come with the taximeter already running. That amount cannot, however, exceed 3.22 € during the day, 3.99 € night, or 6.50 € on Fridays, Saturdays or holidays at night.
◦Motorway tolls are paid separately by the passenger.
◦Taxi drivers are only required to carry change for payment up to 20 €.

Tide pen addicts, unite!

So sorry to hear your work environment is nasty. :sad2:

Lol. I am the same way. I find that I like the the shout wipes better because I can slip them in my travel purse easier and they are individually wrapped.

Sorry you had a rotten day. :headache: I have had days like that.

Hopefully, if all goes well, this time 3 weeks from now we will be sitting on a plane heading to Barcelona. Love it. This time is going to fly by in no time.

Something that just occured to me as a good precaution item to take....a travle size sewing kit, in case a button pops off or something.

Heather, how is your MIL only 60?! and you've got teenagers. (My family were late starters - my grandmother was 61 when I was born, my mother was the same when my sister had her first)
Ummm .. let's see.. my grandson will be 20 in Oct. and I will be 58 in Sept... and that's how that works...LOL

Is there an age requirement for this? Just wondering if it's something our 2 yo would be invited to. She loves the Princesses and dressing up... and more importantly treats :rotfl:

I think it is all kids under 18 if I am not mistaken.. yes the babies are included.

I'm planning on having one of these with me. If anyone needs to borrow it, they'll be welcome to.

Not to be redundant but....

I HATE GTY!!!!!! I know, I know... I did it to myself. I just over estimated my self control.

Effective immediately GTY stands for.....

Going to YELL!!!!!:confused3

Don't like that at all for you, Pat. What's that song... "Take this job and shove it...." :thumbsup2

"Hi i'm DizzyDisneyfan42"

and in your head you're thinking

"well you don't look like dizzydisneyfan42" :rotfl:

SW

So true!

We are working on student loan paperwork etc. Sam got her Student ID today. She attended all of the orientation sessions, lunches, dinners, harbor cruise etc. as well as me attending the parent orientations.

We are having her textbooks shipped here to the hotel as she already has homework and her first class on Thursday so things are still a bit crazy.

I will to post more later on the weekend but I will try to answer questions.

John and I plan to do a DIS Navigator similar to the one that was done last year. Hopefully, when I am home this weekend, I will start sending confirming emails to those who are organizing activities.

The link below is a large file so it may take a minute or so to load.

2010 WBTA Navigator

Thanks Noel. Sorry to start any confusion concerning the dis navigator, I must have missed that post.

I am catching up from yesterday - you guys did 10 whole pages in 24 hours! I'm up to page 206 but I'm tired, so try not to do too much between now and tomorrow morning :lmao:

This would be the commissary job that pays nothing?
