Done! Watch it conflict with something now.

Guess it would be weird for the grown-ups to dress up. Wouldn't it?

Must get to second job (today) now. Wish this economy would improve soon.

Ditto on the economy. :sad2:

YAY for connecting with Binkytell! princess: We are linked for late dining, so you will probably see our little ones hanging out together. Who would have ever thought of 'rent a princess'? Maybe our rsvps will end up all together. Reckon the ship looks at existing onboard reservations (Palo, Spa...) when assigning something like this?

:rotfl: I could have written that exact same message about Lee.....oh well they can forget each others names at dinner every night. ;)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Stevie is starting to get the hang of who's who now. He's remembered you two as he met you both last year, but it's DD that makes me laugh, I'll be chatting with DH about who said what on the boards and she gets cross with me saying that these people are strangers from the Internet.... You have to be careful, they may not be who they say they are ... At least she has been listening to me :thumbsup2. You and Tony are exempt from the warnings as we met you already, so it's safe to sit with you at dinner :rotfl2: everyone else are potential axe murderers :rotfl:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hello All,

I wanted to update you regarding booking this excursion on your own. Maricia is now taking reservations from individual parties for both the morning and afternoon tour. Disney did not charter the entire boat. The cost again is 30euro for adults and 15euro for kids under 11. You will pay when you get to the dock. I look foward to sailing with you!!!

Nickole

I have filled in the form on line so hope to hear back from them soon. Looking forward to this trip ... I have asked for the morning tour. :thumbsup2

to all who read my remark (obviously not me) about a 'decent' airport in the UK, I apologise. What I meant was an airport that had international, intercontinental, and regional access. It was one of those open mouth ,insert foot moments and I am truly sorry. Next time I'll read before I leap. Jean

Did someone complain Jean because I missed any response? I certainly would have known what you meant so no problem with me. Anyway we do have some poor airports!!!!;)

Mary Poppins seeks one Prince or Princess to take to little people tea.

Any takers? i have 17 years of looking after under 8's and im a good conversation maker.

I have my princess dress and tiara ready to go!!! :cutie:

Hope this doesnt sound too seedy or desperate :rotfl2::rotfl2:

But seriously i would love to join a little person for tea :rolleyes1

No, no-one complained, I just read my own post and was extremely embarrased at what I had actually written. didn't mean a word of it. Jean

Hi there

You had to log in using the reference number from last year's trip. If you can't find the number, they can trace you by your passport number. You need to update your details to sailing on Disney Cruise Line from Barcelona, dates etc and where you will be staying while in the USA

I just did mine yesterday, so it's fresh in my mind. I got the "update" confirmation page and knew it wasn't what I needed to print, so I hit the exit button at the bottom of screen. When you go back that one step to the home page, there is a print form option. That's the print out that you need to take with you for boarding :)

Thankyou so much i can now stop banging my head against the wall as i have managed to print out the correct thing!

We are also going to be on the morning tour. This looks like it is tons of fun. Can't wait to swim of the edge of the boat.

This sounds great! One more cool thing DCL does for kids!!!

I think both my kids will like it, even the 7 year old (although he may act like he doesn't). I just hope we don't get an invite for the day we are doing brunch, or a mixology tasting. So if all goes well, I will be bringing 2 kids with only 2 adults, so a couple of you can tag along if you want.

It is not the Alice's tea party.. it is the Prince and Princess tea party. It is by invitation only. Every child will get an invite to a party for a particular day. They are not all on the same day. You must RSVP it by dropping the invite rsvp form in a box at the gift shop. They will then send a ticket to your stateroom for the people you RSVP'd. This one is held in Luminier's. The princess's will be there to visit the kids and they serve tea and treats. It is so cute to see the little ones dressed up for the occasion. They give each child a banner as they enter with Prince or Princess on it.

The Alice's tea party is a paid event I think (not sure).... It will have Alice and some other princess's at the party. It is held at Studio Sea.

Wow! It really is! They probably don't even remember us, we lived way down at the end of the street. They were friends with our friend's Gwen's 2 little boys. I know that Gwen has since moved to Oviedo, but I haven't talked to her in a couple years. We kept in touch for a while when we first moved, but then just kind of faded off.

remember we were talking about Augusta in Eastwood, and you said the family you remembered had 2 little boys and had probably lost a daughter? Well, that's Connor's ( Ian's friend) family. the Mom is Michelle and the 'new' baby is 2. Talk about a small world.

Hazel come join us!

...Last year my in-laws took us on a Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean for my MIL's 60th birthday. ...

Heather, how is your MIL only 60?! and you've got teenagers. (My family were late starters - my grandmother was 61 when I was born, my mother was the same when my sister had her first)

I've already got my embarkation shirt picked out - how fun is this?

Mickey Mouse Surf Tours Shirt

Okay, now if everyone memorizes that shirt and the name Chris, we can remember you for one day. And then you'll need to wear the shirt everyday (or the nice blue shirt/tie combo). We won't recognize you by face, only by your clothes.

Thanks so much for the clarification!!!!! :thumbsup2 Wow. Would have so messed that one up!

So I need to keep a lookout for:
~ Character Breakfast (based on dining time/rotation)
~ Alice's Tea Party (sign up at Guest Services I assume)
~ Prince/Princess Tea (RSVP at gift shop)

And I am hoping there is the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique onboard as well. Just to let Sarah get pampered a little. (Her poor, poor Daddy when she becomes a teenager....)

They also hide info about
  • Late night dessert buffet
  • Outdoor cookouts

Ok, what did I miss, what is the morning tour?:confused3:confused3

Galleon Ship in Madeira

I have a Prince and Princess to "rent".

:thumbsup2

My husband isn't too worried about joining us on a tea, so I'm guessing I can take 3 people? If anyone wants to come with us, can you PM me? My 2 year old girl and 6 year old boy would love some company!

I don't even use the pool sunbeds but people saving them even annoys me.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

It's the saving of entire rows in the Walt Disney Theatre that irks me the most. My sister almost hit a man that was saving the entire second row one night on the Dream. He was so nasty and arrogant about it.
It's always amazing how badly people behave...whatever happened to common courtesy????:confused3 I don't think I would have wanted to sit there anyway...can you imagine how their kids would act?

They also hide info about
  • Late night dessert buffet
  • Outdoor cookouts
I knew about the buffet (unfortunately, AFTER last year's cruise), but when do they have outdoor cookouts? And where?

How dare they try to keep secrets from us Dissers!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Just an interesting bit of info: DH checked cabin availability today and found that VGT was available again (but not IGT or OGT). An hour later, the VGT has disappeared. A bit later in the day, the category was back again. The DCL elves are playing again! :confused3 It also appears all of the two-porthole cabins are booked; good news for those on the OGT list (incl. my DM).

I'd actually love to go to prince and princess tea! If anyone needs an adult (i'm a camp counselor and just got my teaching license) I'm in! just let me know :-D

Is there an age requirement for this? Just wondering if it's something our 2 yo would be invited to. She loves the Princesses and dressing up... and more importantly treats :rotfl:
