Thanks guys for all the kind wishes
It started off as a bad migraine and sore throat on Thursday. Now turns out I've got bad tonsillitis. Apparently haven't got an ear infection aswell but am getting stabbing pains in my right ear, still got the headache, and my glands are so swollen I can't move my neck properly. Plus lost my appetite totally and having trouble keeping what I do eat in.
So off to the doctors again tomorrow to beg them for stronger drugs!

Liesbeth, we have 'not a dog', either. I'm SO allergic to furbearers! We solved the problem with Teddy Bears, and they can go with us

The "cruise curmudgeon" thread says they are our "familiars" and maybe that's so - all I know is - they don't eat much, never say "are we there yet" and pose happily for endless photos without tantrums.

I noticed you said keep food 'in' and not 'down', so if the antibiotics are giving you 'tummy troubles' you could try eating some yogurt, it has helped me in the past. Feel better soon

again apologies for not replying to PMs, still ill, and feeling worse now. went to emergency clinic yesterday who gave me some penicillin but its getting worse so going to my doctor tomorrow. being away from the dis sucks! but basically been in bed for the last 3 days.

I asked them and they said I had to:

So I am getting all the information just incase.

I saw that I had made a numerical error with the right amount of euros but wrong number of pins. I have now made the correction.

So yesterday we finally made it to wdw around 3:30. We parked at the extended parking for the Boardwalk and walked through to the Boardwalk Bakery for an oreo bon bon cupcake.

Then we walked through & entered at the World Showcase entrance. We went to Mexico pavillion & rode the ride there, then to Spaceship Earth, the Seas w/ Nemo and Living w/ the Land. Watched the Canada movie, then to the UK pavillion where we saw the new band there - British Revolution, then to Morocco for dinner at Tangerine Cafe (I love their shwarma plate) and window shopping in Japan, caramel corn in Germany and Illuminations. The weather was beautiful and it was a lovely night.

Sounds perfect, and I loved reading every bit. Living vicariously through those who are there right now!

Hope you are feeling better soon and the Doc sorts you out. Been under the weather myself over the past month or two - pains in the stomach like "hunger pains" - been to the Doc - got some pills - when they run out and I'm still the same I will need a scan.

Thanks! We are AP holders so we try to get there when we can - it is one of the best things about living in FL. But I am jealous of those who spend days and days at wdw, we rarely do overnight trips there and when we do they are not for very long. I love reading people's trip reports, don't you?

To Liz-- trip reports are wonderful, and so is seeing the magic of Disney through different perspectives (AP vs destination vacay). Whenever someone describes their trip, I get to picture treasured sights and sounds but also "see" through their unique eyes, and that's just more "magic"!

For those who signed up for all groups, there have been more people added to the 7th group (Group Port Canaveral). You might want to check the Google doc for the new additions.

We have just under one month til the cut off date! My how time flies when you are waaaay behind on FE gifts! I have no idea how many people will sign up in that time, so each group may still end up with a couple more additions to their lists, but they will still be limited to 20 cabins.

I'm running lights for the local community theatre's latest production, and we're going into our final week of rehearsals and opening weekend, so I'm not going to be around much during the evenings. Please be patient if you send me questions about the FE - I'll reply as soon as possible.

I went to the optician’s today, because I felt I needed new glasses for the cruise, and all that reading I’m going to do. Only to have the young optician tell me that it’s only to be expected that my eyes have deteriorated and at my age it’s only going to get worst ! When I said he had just depressed me, he replied he didn’t normally have that effect on people.lol my only thought was they all must be younger than me !!.... and for that I came out £374 poorer ( approx. $500 )


My DD suffered a fall on her trek for the Duke of Edinburgh award. Thankfully no broken bones. She’s now back at base camp while her friends continue. I feel for her, although this was a practice for the real trek next year. She can no longer receive the full award without having completed it, after eight months of preparation it’s upsetting for her.

I'm really missing her now, because she sounded so upset about it and she won't be home until tuesday, but at 17 she's still my baby and as a mum I still want to protect her from life's down's

Just got to WDW today. Went to 1900 park fare for dinner. When Lorelei left she said "I meet princesses. I like prince charming." She's talking so much now. this trip is going to be so fun since she's much more interactive

Ok, this seems to be the week that we all can't wait to end! Noel, I hope it's nothing too serious. I'm so sorry to hear
these things, especially when health is involved. I, too, have had one of "those" weeks. Little things like the iron breaking, a state inspection at work (went very well, but was stressful nonetheless), and a letter from the IRS asking for more money (due to a miscalculation on a schedule filed with our return)...all minimal but annoying . I also tried to order something for my FEs with a DCL logo, but was informed I could not use a trademarked symbol. Oh well, I tried . More importantly, my DNiece Anna (PinkPug) is in the hospital being treated for a staph infection on her leg...not so minimal, but
she'll be fine. She went to the ER Wed. and was admitted, treated overnight with IV ABT, then released with orals when her WBC went back down to normal. But early today, she was readmitted when the symptoms flared again. Poor kid...I told her she'd better get it taken care of now, because she has some serious cruising to do!

Hopefully, next week will be better for all of us and our families .
