*Sept 10th 2011 WB Transatlantic* From Spain to Space Mountain - Part 4

I actually use to work for them. If you ever get a chance to see their store house you will not be able to walk out without spending hundred's of dollars. I am hoping that my stuff for the exchange will be a personalized cruise ship with our sailing dates on it. (sorry I just let the cat out of the bag). The people are super awesome that work there.

My girlfriend and I have ordered from them. Like their titles and Disney kits. . Wish I could participate in the exchange but DH is allowing me only one large suitcase and a backpack/tote bag of some sorts. One bag for four weeks is going to be interesting. . Once we get to Barcelona via our 5 days in London, I can start shopping

Well we leave for Orlando tomorrow and just in case I don't have time to log on in the morning ( I will try though) I just want to say goodbye to everyone for 17 days. This is the first time I have been to Florida with absolutely no fixed plan of attack and it feels really strange to be winging it like this, but with not knowing Taryn's shifts etc it is hard to plan ahead.

I imagine when I return this thread will be confined to the past and we will have moved on to Part 5 ..... hope all goes well for you all while we are gone, and when we return we will be thrust immediately into the last 7 weeks of pre-cruise planning .... and dieting ... and FE gift making etc etc ....

Nope we are staying in Barcelona for 14 nights really.

It's because we don't actually sail until around 9pm that evening, whereas usually you sail away from dock during the party.

We had a non sail away party for one of our previous cruises. Did feel a bit odd having all of the festivities, but then staying still.

Noticed this wasn't answered, so I'll give it a shot:

A whole bunch of this crew has gotten cabins in the same area of the ship - either Deck 5 or 6, probably forward, as they were looking at sideways cabins.

They'll be dancing in the hallways with each other, they're so happy to be on the Party Deck. Okay - that's it in a nutshell.

Now someone can do a better job than my description, right - please? !

All the main info is on the first two pages of the thread.

We had a non sail away party for one of our previous cruises. Did feel a bit odd having all of the festivities, but then staying still.

I imagine it does feel rather strange. It will be nice going up on deck 10 after dinner and see us finally sailing though.

To all of the Canadian DISers, Happy Canada Day! Hope you all have a great long weekend. Weather here in Ottawa looks good for the festivities and is a plus for all of the people camping out downtown to get a glimpse of Will and Kate. We've decided to give going downtown a miss this year as it's going to be too crowded.
