I have been working my way through this thread since last weekend when we first decided we may quite love to go on this cruise, so have been getting very excited to read about all of the goings on..........

But we have managed to book today with Virgin!! and right now are so excited we dont know what to do with ourselves.

We are Hazel and Annie and have spent the past 10 years or so taking our holidays in WDW. We were due to take our holiday in California this year but that fell through, and after spending an entire week sulking and trawling the internet for different holidays i came across the WBTA!

We have never been on any kind of cruise before so this is all completely new to us, so we thought what better way to start than the Disney way!!

We are not going with kids but are just big versions of kids ourselves :dance3:

We have lots of things we want to know about but after my excitement has subsided a little i will form a legible list!!

I take it to add ourselves on to the organised activities etc we just pm the person that arranges it?

Apologies for randomness but this is what we're doing on our chairs right now ..... :cool1:

looking forward ti getting to know some people before we leave, we think we are quite easy to get along with and always love meeting new people!!

xxxxx

:welcome: Hazel and Annie!

We are Pat and Dennis. This is our 3rd DCL/any cruise, but our first for more than 4 nights. We only have four-legged "kids" (who we would bring if we could) and we're really just over-grown 5-year-olds with credit cards.

If you look at Page 1, you will see everything you need to know about organized (we use the term loosely around here) activities.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have. We're a friendly lot, and if we don't know the answer to something, we'll make one up. :teeth:

Hey Mel - I sent you an email about the FE Group website. See if you can access the Document using the link at the top of the Group page. I'm trying to find out if I absolutely have to go through the "share" routine with every single person. Thanks!

Happy Saturday Everyone!!!
We got back on Friday, very tired from driving. Our trip was great though, the Blue Ridge Mountains (Appalachia) in Virginia were very scenic and the weather was perfect. LOTS of fireflies (which we don't see in FL) and they reminded me of The Princess & the Frog - "Evangeline!" We hiked about 7 miles everyday and it was really fun, we also visited one of the Virginia wineries and it was lovely.

Of course I brought the laptop just so we could sign in and reserve Palo that Saturday. We got brunch and dinner, but I guess I should've done tea first b/c once we did brunch and dinner there were no tea reservations left. Oh well, maybe next time!

Thank you for all of the anniversary congratulations!

Since we didn't do an "anniversary dinner", we are thinking of going to Blue Zoo at the wdw Dolphin hotel next time we visit the world. Has anyone eaten there before?

Welcome back. Glad you had such a good time.

I know quite a few folk who love Blue Zoo. They say it is much more special than the WDW restaurants, serves amazing food, and very adult too.

Welcome Hazel and Annie. We are Marilyn and John from North Yorkshire. This will be our 8th cruise, all DCL, and our 2nd WBTA. We did last year's and loved it so rebooked onboard. You will have an amazing time, and also enjoy being part of this great group.

Welcome aboard, Dannie and Hazel!

Pat - Maybe it's just me but when I download the files, unzip them & the folders are empty??? :confused3

Totally same problem here, should've read this thread first before stalking Pat by PM. Have read all post uptill here but nothing works for me so far. Have to say though, in the acceptance email I got for the group, there is no link in it except to the standard google-groups-help-section that obviously is of no help.

Did find the old FE-list from our 2009-cruise but I doubt that will be the one. :lmao:

mandy - thinking about using one of your graphics you posted on your photo gallery for part of my FE gift. is there any way you or anyone else can add the dates to the image? its this one:

Cute!!!

Welcome back Liz, glad you had a great time & that you finally managed to solve your pie issue. :goodvibes

:welcome: aboard Hazel & Annie. We are Claire & DH Lee, it's our 3rd cruise but 1st transatlantic. :thumbsup2

I am arranging a few meets, all details are on the first two pages of the thread. Just PM the person arranging to join. :)

I'm not sure but I think you may have to wait for Pat to manually send the email, I don't think it's automatic.

Also check your junk folder as that's where my email was put.

hi pat - sorry to be a pain, but i've added my 4 lists together, taken off the duplicates and i only seem to have 30 cabins, so can i be added to one more group please, but if its going to be a huge problem, dont worry about it :)

Well, no, that won't help you much. I tried adding myself as a member using a different username, and I couldn't get to the Group page either. I had to go through the link I posted a couple of pages back. I guess I should put that on the first page so it's easy to find, if that's what we have to do to get there.

As for the FE List, if you can't get to it via the "Documents" link at the top of the Group page, I guess I'll have to send individual "share" messages.

Ummm... Would someone who said this was easy to use please let me know if/what I'm doing wrong here, or if this is as easy as it gets. :confused3

That makes me feel so good. I'm in the junk folder. :rotfl:

Did you count each repeated person on the first list? That should give you 19 on Barcelona. Oh, yeah, you have to count the blank spaces on each list, too, as those are going to be filled in as we go. You may have 30 actual cabins now, but once things get filled in, you'll have more.

oh, cool, thought the lists were final, didnt realise they were still being added to. thanks :) in that case, i'll stick with 4 groups :) i'm only doing one gift per cabin anyway to keep luggage weight down....

I see Michelle got to it! :) And I definitely know I don't know how. I had found that one from AmyMickey (she has a website that you can order iron-on transfers - amymickey.com) Here is the original file where I pulled it from:

:welcome: aboard were sarah and brian, this is our first ever cruise too, think we made a fab choice:thumbsup2

any thing you need to know im sure someone here will be able to help:disrocks:

Hey ...guess what.......I can't access it :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Oh, bu**er. Why am I not surprised.

Okay, I'm serious about this "easy" thing. If this is as good as it gets, I would call it "slightly less troublesome than having to create the document for each individual" rather than "easy." "Easy" would be a button that says, "Share this with everyone in the group," not "enter email addresses here." It doesn't even give me anything in my "Contacts" list. I mean, if I "own" the Group, why aren't all those emails automatically in my "Contacts" list. I need a 10-year-old to sort this out for me.
