Wow, I go to bed last night at 9 (I caught a summer cold....yuck!) and I get up this morning to 4 new pages!

I've been doing a little bit more shopping today I got another 2 dresses!! I have never owned so many dresses.

I also called Member Services tonight and am waitlisted for Bay Lake Towers, for a Lake view room. There was 3 nights available, so I am hopeful...Pixie dust it comes through

Lynne - your photos are truly stunning ..... looking at them brings back so many wonderful memories as I spent 3 months cruising Alaska when working for Princess Cruises in 1989. We had some fantastic times in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and did white water rafting in the Mendenhall glacier melt river. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing photos .... really making me want to book an Alaska cruise in 2012.

I'll bring some odds and ends, so if anyone has a nail emergency I'd be happy to help them out! I travel with OPI polishes, nail glue and repair silk, files, base and top coats. If I felt comfortable traveling with my Shellac lamp I'd bring that too, but I don't think the bulbs would survive the journey. But I'm serious, if anyone needs a hand with a repair or a quick polish job, I'm in cabin 6071.

Any other silvers planning on getiing up at 5am on Sunday for the 90 day window .... I don't know if I really need to as I am only trying to book Palo brunch and dinner, and last time we could only get dinner advance but got brunch easily on board, but then again it is fun getting up eary to do it and it builds up the excitement a bit and if I can get both on line I won't have to faff about on embarkation day.

It's 3am for us .. most likely will just stay up late rather than try to wake up

We are about to wind down from all of the celebrating in our house. In the last 2 weeks - my husband turned 50 , my daughter graduated High School , we celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary yesterday , and Monday is our son's 23rd birthday . Whew!

Fun times .. congrats on all your celebrations

So, my promotion here at work FINALLY got approved!!! It's been hanging out there since January, so i've been waiting a long time!! Now I will get an office, so that will be very nice!

I was Karen #2 for so long in elementary school...because they went alphabetically and I fell behind Karen Brown.

So, I'll offer to be Keri (since that's what most of my family calls me anyway)...so now we are down to only how many Karens?

I just think it's funny....maybe we could have a group Karen photo!

That's a great starting point Although the drinks menu is 5 years out of date so I would imagine the prices have gone up quite a bit since.

For a long time, I did not know another Mary. Then when I went to College, there were 3 of us in the same dorm hallway. We all had a nickname, I can't remember them all, but I was Hyper Mary, LOL

We're going to New Orleans this weekend to do some final celebrating, then it's back to normal. Gotta get this diet going again - 20 lbs. need to be gone by the time we cruise.

It is a distinct possibility ..... either that or the Med. It will be strange though taking warm clothing as well as all the on board stuff, would definitely struggle with the weight allowance if we did Alaska!!!

We have been assigned cabin 7000. Can anyone offer any info regarding the cabin, being the foremost cabin will we suffer more from noise than most? Any info would be great as I can look at changing if it's going to be a problem

We have stayed in cabin 7000 twice now - once on the Wonder and once on the Magic (layout is the same on both ships). We loved it's location - easy to get up to Deck 9 (where the pools are) and the theatre for the shows on Deck 4. It was very quiet and the only "traffic" you get is the occasional crew member going into the crew only area located beyond the door at the end of the corridor. The only reason we are not in 7000 this time is because we wanted a verandah; otherwise we would have booked it again We are stil on Deck 7, though, in 7024.

Do not worry Paul! This cruise is a laid back cruise if you want it to be. That's the thing about cruises, there are always activities going on, so you can be as active or as relaxed as you want to be. Disers plan a lot of activities and the ship does as well, but its nice just to "do nothing" on the ship too.
