Received an email from DCL last night requesting our flight information to set up our ground transfers. It's getting more and more real! :thumbsup2

WooHoo!!! Are those your transfers for post-cruise?

the scarier thing is that i was just talking to claire about something else, and realised we've gone through 97 pages in 3 weeks!
definately going to end up on part five (or even 6) by the time we cruise!

:lmao:

Wow, 20 pages to catch up on. I'll be glad when I get all of my grants done in June and then I can begin thinking about the cruise! So far 2 down and 8 to go....I just hope that I make it the next few weeks on very little sleep!

karen

I envy you with grant writing. I wrote a few while teaching, and $5k was the most I ever wrote a grant for, but definitely know the arduous process it can entail! :headache:

Secret Mickey

hi everyone!
i'm just sorting out secret mickey recipients for the people who wanted their assignments early.
I'm not planning on doing the whole list, but just assigning to those who want theirs early.

so far i've got pinky166, goofieslonglostsis, and just love eeyore.

if anyone else wants theirs now, please let me know.

Karen, I would love to have mine early if you don't mind! Thanks!!!! :thumbsup2

have you done anything like this before? sounds awesome to me but never done anything similar before and dont think i'd be able to convince gary to come either :(
I have not ever done anything like this! The reviews sound great, though. My husband has rappelled a lot, and loves this kind of thing.

Today I have mostly been re-organising my case.
I have managed to get the weight of it down to 10kgs :thumbsup2 So now I can go and buy some more clothes & might I say shoes - well 1 pair of nice shoes for formal nights:woohoo:

For those of you interested in the canyoning in Madeira, someone on the PassPorter boards did this on the EBTA last year. She wrote about it here:

Madeira trip report

Not a lot of details, but it should give you some idea of what it was like.

I have a small business with a partner and she and I generally only write for government grants. Right now, if every one I am writing gets funded, it will be another $75 million raised (which won't happen...but...) So far in my career I've raised over $250 million which isn't too bad.

But darn, I've got writer's block today:headache: and it just won't go away. I have to describe an agency's 150+ year history of providing services in no more than 25 words..... argh....stupid guidelines make me crabby!

Home tonight from our 7-night Alaskan cruise on the Wonder; read 30+ pages and then found out Part 4 is already to this page; I'm putting off reading until tomorrow.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes - Tracy Arm cruising was a great way to spend a special day. The scenery in Alaska is beautiful. Best cruise ever - mainly due to the scenery and the abundance of port excursion choices.

WElcome home Lynne ... sounds amazing. Would love to see some photos :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

hi sarah, am i right in thinking you are staying in a hotel in lake buena vista when you are visiting your daughter, if so could you tell us which one, we are thinking of switching our hotel for the last few nights after the cruise and we have looked at this area, thanks susie

We are staying on Hotel Plaza Boulevard near Downtown Disney in the Holiday Inn :

but I booked it through

http://www.hotelopia.com

as the rate was a lot cheaper.

Is he like the Naked Cowboy in Times Square. We have seen him. He actually looks pretty good to me.

One difference ..... Naked Man of Barcelona wears absolutely nothing at all ... oh and he doeasn't have a guitar either.

man i really want to do this, but there's pretty much no chance that gary will go for this, and i'd feel really bad leaving him on his own all day

You better buy a few more things before we go ... one thing you won't have to worry about is excess baggage. I am on the lookout for new sandals too .... something comfortable for sight-seeing :confused3

Lol, forget the Naked Man in Barcelona.....I'm the Naked Woman on the Magic! :lmao:
