OMG we are all going to be pickled after this cruise. I will need to go into detox and drink water for a week to cleanse my liver :lmao::lmao:

Disarono :cloud9:

Shopping list - preventative measures - Many packets of Resolve :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

No problem.....between the Zumba and the Riverdance....everyone should sweat the alcohol right out of their system!! No after effects!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Mary, got your tea, can you PM me your address?

Oh and it's definately the hard water ones. Our water down here is so hard it comes out the tap with a black eye :rotfl:

Wow, that was quick

Takes me a good 30 mins to drive to Asda, although we have a local tesco that doesn't have a fantastic selection and is so overpriced.

I'll pm you, let me know how much I owe you :thumbsup2 I am so excited about a decent cuppa at WDW for once :cool1:

Will do, i'll get one with my food shopping next week & stick it in my packing box. :)

I have got cassis on my list too. :rotfl2: Maybe we should share a bottle my dear neighbour, as we won't need too much.

Yes many boxes of Resolve and Nurofen! :rotfl2:

Thanks for that Hun, I'll need my morning cuppa on the cruise, hangover cure, followed closely by preventative resolve :rotfl2:

Yep, we can defo go halves on a bottle of cassis, we definiately wouldn't use 2.

Thank goodness for that.....I really didn't want another debate over that subject again!!!! :rotfl: (Incase you missed we've had that discussion about 3 times ending with lots of us calling & emailing them)
.

Well on this and other sites had seen people that had emailed and had replies saying it's closed sone saying open.So was veryconfused!

And I've just found an absolutely lovely pre mixed Bacardi Pina Colada that I'm hoping they will have there, so couldn't stand suspense any longer, hence my own phone call:banana:

So bring on the Pina Colada

I'm packing my Tea Bags for the cruise. I have to have my cuppa on a morning. Don't like this twinings rubbish ;):lmao:

Always looking for new low-carb recipes - i've lost 55 pounds low carbing and would like to lose another 55. My strategy when we eat out is to allow myself 3 bites of my dh's dessert if it's special, or ONE Lindt ball after lunch, if I've been good. It seems to keep my cravings in check.

Well done Linda!!!:thumbsup2

:faint: You were quick, do you live next door? :rotfl:

not quite but i only live about five mins drive away from asda, and i needed to go out and get petrol an shampoo anyway so just picked it up while i was there

when are you off to WDW then? or is this for after the cruise?

and with all this alcohol talk, i'm more sure than ever that my FE gift is pretty much perfect for this cruise!

Me too. Always take my Clipper tea bags to WDW with me. Although I find there that the milk never tastes quite the same. But don't function in the morning until I've had at least 2 nice cuppas:surfweb:

It seems they are finally all saying they are open which is fab!

Is the Pina Colada mix in a large class bottle, kind of wine bottle size & shape?

Ooooh I can't wait to see what your FE gift is. :cool1:

Okay, Claire, I need to ask - What is this Resolve you are talking about?
Sounds like something we could all use on this cruise! LOL! :thumbsup2

A pain reliever for headache's & to settle your tummy! :rotfl2:

That would be awesome, thanks! :goodvibes In the meantime if I see it over here then i'll try it & let you know so you need not bring any.

Got it noted down on my candy exchange document so I can't possibly forget. Just let me know if in the meantime you could find it at home and if I don't hear anything, I'll bring some along for you.

It's a Tongue in cheek take on the cruise essentials kit a lot of people give. That's all I'm saying :)

Sounds like fun! :goodvibes

Thanks! :thumbsup2 This resolve sounds like something very handy to have - especially when enjoying some libations! :)

I think it's a necessity for this cruise, lol.

Thanks hun, I will certainly let you know if I find it in the meantime. :)

Jacqueline, are you definite now for the cruise? I am presuming you are as you are very active on here again, but I know you were having some big problems which made you think you might have to cancel.

I wonder if I can get the GPS to work on my phone over open water. It would be lovely to have my Google Sky map working on my phone on a nice clear evening. I remember from the EBTA that they had a captain that was out there and showing us where different stars and planets were. It would be nice to see them anytime.

most GPS's will work unless it is on a phone and requires a cell tower.

That's a possibility. Would the same card work everywhere, or would I need one for Europe & one for the Caribbean?

They do sell some cards that work in most countries. You need to check the card close that you want to buy.

I have AT&T so thanks for the info. To clariify, you could not get a signal unless in port, correct?

That is correct. You have to be near a tower... and obviously there are non in the ocean... :confused3

Claire, the big bags look like this (smaller the same but in much smaller size);

Ehm, well, ehm, depends on who you ask. I need to get a small operation done before the trip and still got no date for it. The op is no biggie, normally needs no real down time but I've learned in the past that I can easily need much longer to recoup. We really aim for at least 6 but prefer at least 8 weeks to recoup but somehow the specialist still thinks he can get me in peachy shape within 2 days like no risk patients. So that could make things interesting unless I get a date real soon now. I'm always carefull to not want to jinx myself -been known to do that :rolleyes1 - but am kinda acting as if nothing is going on. I'm planning on going but let's touch wood.
