Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!
All this talk about sun screen is sure a day brightener for me - we're in a gloomy rainy period here.
If I look at the sun I get brown, so no laying out for me. Never did - it's hard for me to stay still more than 10 minutes anyway.
Anyone got any trips planned before September?
Good Morning Linda (lunchtime here now), we have a lovely bright sunny day here.
I'm not allowed to talk about it as everyone goes mental about how we are always on holiday, but if you check out my signature

Between the skin cancer issue and trying to keep my aging skin moisturized (fighting those wrinkles all the way), I'll stick with my pale look, thank you!
Funny story about that "healthy" tan thing. Dennis and I were standing in line at Hurricane Hannah's at the Beach Club. The woman in front of us was probably in her 30's but her skin looked like an old leather handbag. She was wearing a bikini with "Juicy" written across her backside (as in Juicy Couture, but Dennis didn't know that). He and I looked at the word, then at each other, and both said, "Juicy? I don't think so!"![]()
OMG that is hilarious, that the sort of thing that DH would say

I have always tanned pretty easily but over the last ten years or so I have started to suffer with a heat rash which can get pretty nasty, it can swell up so I have to be careful about how much time I spend in the sun.It doesn't help that I always get eaten alive by mozzies too so that makes me itch which makes my skin even worse!

Has anyone got any cures for mozzies? I take garlic capsules everyday for about 3 weeks leading up to a trip and throughout the holiday, I also take anti histamine for that time too (for my heat rash) but I still get it every time.
Claire I get eaten alive too and they don't touch Stevie or Rachel. I have the cure !!! Avon skin so soft oil spray. The fresh green one. It is sworn by everyone all over the world anyone visiting the west coast of Scotland gets eaten alive in summer. Everyone over there or visiting, puts it on their horses and pets as well. Bonus, it keeps your skin moisturised too

My friend is an Avon rep and they are not allowed to advertise its anti-mozzy qualities, but every rep keeps dozens of bottles in their stocks
