That is included unless you want a speciality coffee then you pay.

Does that mean you pay for latte's, cappuccino's or do you just pay for the one's with a liqueur?

I will be taken care of at the gate... maybe some lucky passenger (who hasn't booked the empty seat next to me) will get upgraded to first class for their inconvenience. :thumbsup2

One year on a flight home from Hawaii, I was just getting myself situated in my seat when we were confronted by two "ladies" angry at us for being in their seats. We vacated the seats as soon as humanly possible to try to appease them. DH calmly notified the flight attendants of what had happened and they went to check into it.

I was day dreaming about another day on the Island at the airlines expense, :beach: when they came back, and sure enough they had double booked our seats. After a few minutes of calmly waiting for them to find a solution, we were asked to follow the attendant ... all the way to First Class :wizard: Not only did they treat us royally in first class, but they also gave us a certificate for 50% off our next flight with them to apologize for the inconvenience  gotta love Hawaiian Air. The moral of this story is .....

Well I'm sitting in the garden as it's been an absolutely glorious day here. Getting into the swing of things for the cruise. I am onto my 3rd bottle of bud 66 and feeling very light headed. :rotfl:
hope everyone else is having a good night/day

:flower3: Now, imagine the nice seats those ladies could have had if they had just acted like grown-ups!

WooHoo for that! We enjoyed flying Hawaiian Air as well a few years ago. I'm really an easy-going person... and have literally flown hundreds of times for business (was AAdvantage Gold) and pleasure (like when I worked for an airline)... but was just amazed the airline cannot remedy the situation in advance and has a policy to wait until the morning of travel. An empty seat exists right next to me (along with 80 others in coach), but they can't touch it.

Worst case scenario, my 14-month old becomes a lapchild once onboard, and my just-turning-5-year-old sits next to me in the baby's assigned seat. (Thank goodness under age 2 can be a lapchild!) So what we spent an extra 30,000 frequent flyer miles for the baby to have her own seat... It is well worth it to me to have my young children in arm's reach should they not be able to seat us together as we were originally booked. I have a resolution even if the airline can't resolve it the morning of. :thumbsup2

One of our roommates, Lovingthemouse, will certainly be happy for this cruise! She lives near Springfield MA, and they are without power tonight after yesterday's tornado. Her school is in the area that was hit - but SHE wasn't there at the time, TG, but on a plane returning from Florida. Her 99 yo mother's home was also spared, but the rest of that street was pretty much destroyed.

What app is that? Looks much better than the Ticker Factory one I have!

It's called Big Day Lite (free version) It allows you to use your own picture :goodvibes

Thank you for that. I'm just downloading it now. Looks great

It's taking a bit to get used to the android market, I'm so used to the App Store, but I'm getting there.

I found another countdown I liked even better (because its a woman's perogitive to change her mind :rolleyes1) https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sturtz.daysuntilwidget&feature=search_result
Here is my Droid ..

Wanna bet? I had my DS booked into a middle seat...me in aisle and DS friend booked into window when we all traveled together to Disney World when they were 7 and 8....had the same issue, we all got split up, only I didn't know it until I printed the boarding passes. Sure enough, we were ALL split up all over the plane and each of us was in a middle seat!

I felt so bad for the gate manager who, to her credit, saw what happened and told a grown man to "suck it up" as she wasn't going to let the plane go with a mom split apart from her little boys.

Good luck Mandy! Got get 'em!

Karen

I said any reasonable person! Obviously that guy was not a reasonable person. Sorry you had to had to go through that stress, flying just isn't fun anymore.
