No, we're driving in two cars, with my car arriving in Orlando late the night before the cruise and the rest of my family driving directly to the port the following morning.

We are looking to take a limo but what to find one that will stop for us since we have to pick up diapers and maybe some refreshments for us adults lol how old are your kids??

Twin boys that will be about a month and a half shy of three. We wouldn't mind one that stopped either although right now we have planned for whole foods to make a delivery to our hotel room. Either them or garden grocers ...

We rent limos vans etc....:moped: each time we go and stop at that same shopping center! :)

Limo van, shuttle, bus. All the same to me (probably not my kids) as long as we get there cheaper and more conveniently. Who did you use?

You could always order diapers from either Amazon or diapers.com (both have free shipping), and have it shipped directly to the ship.

I thought of doing that but thought you were limited in number of boxes and size of the box so I was afraid since I couldn't control size o box that it might not make it...? I don't need diapers (potty trained finally!) but I do need some other things.

Are juices included in the comp drinks? Anyone experience with bringing a case of beer aboard? (I've seen people who tag a case of water...)

I don't have personal experience with this, but I have checked the boards extensively and everybody seems to agree that you can bring whatever alcohol you want as long as you carry it on board in an appropriate sized carry on. In other words, you are not supposed to tag water and check it with the porter, although I read that some people have done that successfully.

I actually am carrying on board a fold up shopping cart filled with water and alcohol (I need salt-free water, and other family members need some water for excursions). As long as everything will fit through the scanner (dimensions are on the disney cruise website), I believe I will be okay, based on what I have read.

Yes, there is juice in Cabanas and at the self serve beverage station. They also have Julie in the dining room. All free of charge.

I have OJ delivered in mornings to stateroom and chocolate milk and keep in fridge! Chocolate milk on hand for kids is nice vs running anywhere to get it when we are in and out the stateroom. The extra OJs go nice with Scnapps:thumbsup2

It has varied over the years depending on what time we are flying in and how many people.....

Spaceport transport, FLtours, Happy Limo, CocoaB Shuttle..... always depended on our needs and who best fit what I wanted:yay:

We have never had any problems!!! I use to factor in car seats and grocery stops and amount of people and cash pay vs cc pay before...:rotfl: This time I only have us 5 since rest of party driving this year... I am terrible in admitting I DO NOT want to ride in the car for that long with my children and DH..... Seriously it is not fun!!!:lmao:

I have brought DietDr Pepper carried onboard and I love bringing mini bottles to make a mini bar in my stateroompirate:

Remember you will be lugging it around so don't carry too much!:cool2:

Actually didn't try. Is that usually a problem?
I'm hoping they can go in the oceaneer club. We are unlikely to leave them off alone too much. Grandparents traveling with us and part of the reason we travel on vacation is to have whole family time. Dh and I work a lot that we don't get a lot of concentrated all of us time. The club looks like It has some great activities and so we might try those of they will let us. DCL said since they are potty trained and almost 3 we might be able to depending on availability.

I understand:goodvibes When the kids were nursery age I booked a few nights for dh and I to enjoy dinner without kiddos so nursery at around 8 or 9 for a few hours. I booked in advanced and glad I did because there was no availability on my specific times I wanted. Time with just my parents as well to have us sit on adult deck and socialize.:goodvibes Also booked nursery time back then for palo brunch and for a spa exotic rasul... Maybe easier on the new boats... The nursery was well worth the money imho and a bit less crowded especially in evenings. The kid clubs are pretty wild especially with mingled ages now!
