Sept 1 2012 disney fantasy

Weather was great until the last 2 & 1/2 days....it just poured and poured. It was so wet and gross. Felt bad for the people that went down there for the long weekend, it was a total washout.

Wow the poor people, well hope we have good weather again, because we will be there for two weeks this time doing the cruise and then to Disney until Sept. 14th :banana::banana:

I am officially booked on this cruise as of yesterday. :cool1: Can't wait to see the Fantasy. It'll be my 5th cruise on DCL.

Now for the 2013 Magic/Wonder dates to be released so I can find out if there is a WBTA available. I really want to do another transatlantic.

Hi Kim! Luckily there are only the first two days of school for us that week - nothing direly important will be missed I'm sure. My daughter is online looking at cruise related stuff everyday. I wonder if she will keep that up for the next 300 or some odd days ;)

We are going to WDW in less then 2 weeks and she hasn't even seemed excited about that because all she talks about is the Fantasy

Let's put your daughter to work. Hopefully she will keep us all informed all the "need to " stuff about the Fantasy and maybe some great spots or secrets we need to know.

THANKS ALL FOR THE WELCOME!!!

A questions???
Does anyone have the break down on tipping?
And cost of Remy?
And what other things do you spend $$$ on? Just $$ on the boat?

Ok break down for tipping :
Stateroom Host/Hostess-$ 16.00 per guest including children
Dining Room Server-$ 16.00 per guest including children
Dining room Assistant Servier- $12.00 per guest including children
Dining Room Head Server-$4.00 per guest incluing children
Remys- was $85.00 per person
Pictures if you buy, you use your room key on the ship for all thing you buy and it goes on your credit card so be careful not to over spend and keep track of everything you buy so you dont get a big bill like some guy on are last cruise he keeped buy drinks and at the end of cruise his bill was $900.00 WOW!!!!! and they have shops to buy things to and drinks ,Spa,Bingo ,wine tasting, martini tasting, those are $15.00 each and go on room key ..If you plan to buy pictures go on Disney cruise .com and click on gifts they have plans you can buy for pictures we bought the $80.00 one and got /10- 8x10 much cheaper that way ...I think thats all but if I can think of anymore I will put it down..

Hi Kimberly! I am Kimberly too!

Tipping is $4 per person per night. Children are the same rate as adults.
Remy was $75 per person (Adults only) on the Dream. Palo is $20pp I believe.
Other $$ things...Pictures, Drinks, Souviners, (I bought stuff from the Disney Store online before we left when they had sales. Same stuff as on the ship under the DCL section at disneystore.com), Rentals on Castaway Cay, they also sell sand toys etc at Castaway Cay (I went to Dollar Tree durning the summer and they had all kinds of Disney Sand Toys there for $1 each), Spa services. Thats what I can think of off the top of my head!

300!!!! That just sounds too far away. Why can't it be like 30? lol

JennLK, when/where will you be at WDW? I'll be there for the last few days of Food and Wine. I'll be at POP. I finally got a reservation for tea at the Grand Floridian - yay me!

Thanks for the heads up on picture costs. If you wait until you are onboard are the 8x10's about $20.00 a piece? How many pictures do they take of you while on board? I have seen the Pirate ones and I have seen a few formal pictures. Also, do they take pictures on Castaway Cay and if so would those picture be included in the $80.00 package?

Thanks for the insider answers:)
