I highly doubt I will get my son to nap. He will be way too excited!

On the off chance we do get him to nap and he is napping at the time of the meet, one of us will come - probably me since dh has not ever posted

I had Mickey call my DS on Friday and Goofy called my DH. That was fun! It made me more excited for the trip.

You do it through the DCL website. After you log in (you need to be registered) go onto your reservation and you will see the phone call option under "my reservation." and then "character calls".

Anyhow - how many people think they will attend the Meet - 3pm on Sept 1 in La Piazza (Kids are welcome in this venue before 9 pm) ? I will try to keep a tally

Do we need to do name tags or anything like that?

My family and I will be there! (that's me, DH, DD, and DS) We can stick a nametag in our lanyards, if everyone wants to.

We are currently experiencing the outside bands of Isaac--it's great for me because we homeschool...so the kids can't go outside even if they wanted to!

On the other hand, my run last night was in 91% humidity. Even my fingers were sweating!

I will try to make the meet & greet. Not sure if I can drag my DS away from the Aquaduck. DH may be zoning out on the verandah with a glass of wine by that time. He can't wait to sit and sip.

I was just reading some info at http://www.mousesavers.com/disney-cruise-line-discounts-and-advice/disney-cruise-line-onboard-tips-and-tricks/#portearly and even though I have been on 15 Disney cruises I found some helpful advice. Up in Wiscousin taking care of grandchildren. Leaving Thursday night to head back to Florida and packing Friday. Hope I don't forget anything. Safe travels to everyone.

I will speak for us and Drew9780. I know we will be there.... I am almost 100percent certain Drew9780 will be there as well! She may not be able to respond....

I bet that is adorable. Im not worried about most nights - just the first night - waking up early and all of the excitement etc

Ok, I know this is too early to be concerned but the Weather Channel's forecast for all Port days is 60% chance of rain and no sunshine. I hope that changes in the next week. It doesn't go out far enough for Castaway Cay so hopefully at least one will have good weather. That is the one I would prefer sunny and nice. The other ports we can adapt to a little rain.
