Everyone who has kids, can u tell me what their favorite Disney character or movie is. Does any family or couple have a favorite movie or character? Thx

Dakota's favorite character is Jack Sparrow right now. We are all Pirates of the Caribbean fans. He was obsessed about Star Wars for years too. He still loves Toy Story as a traditional Disney movie.

Mark has been compared to Eeyore and Grumpy many times though his favorite character is probably Baloo. Movie for him would be either Snow White or Jungle Book.

As for me, I love all Disney. I've never been crazy about the Princess crowd but Mickey (especially Sorcerer Mickey), Pooh, Tigger, Aladdin, Genie, Buzz, and Capt. Jack are on the top of my list.

Drew9780, I cannot remember if I responded, but in my family, three-year-old Chase is crazy about Mickey Mouse. Grant, who will be seven months old when we cruise, has yet to form any Disney obsessions (I am sure it won't be long).

The family does not really have a single favorite Disney movie, but if I had to choose one for them, I'd say Finding Nemo (and Chase loves any Mickey Mouse Playhouse movies).

Docs arrived Friday. Went shopping . . . again. I started pre-packing by placing some stuff into a suitcase while making sure some clothes still fit. I planned out what I will wear for each special dinner. Made great progress with our FE. Still working on FE gifts too. It's starting to feel like this is really going to happen

I'm new here and just figured out recently what an FE was. This is our first Disney cruise and I would love to participate. I know my 3-year old daughter would love it.

I know I am WAAAAAYY late to this, but I was just wondering if anyone has dropped out for any reason. If so, I would love to be a last minute addition to take their place. If not, no problem, I know it is a long shot, but i thought that it can't hurt to ask.

I can not speak for the group, but would not mind adding your daughter to my list. I am not in charge of the FE, and I think the majority are already done with their gifts. How many are in your group and do you have a cabin number?

Have you thought about creating your own FE (that is, a second one for this cruise)? I bet if you post on the cruise meet thread for September 1, 2012, you will find plenty of others interested in joining.

I have read several posts in the last week which noted that some people signed up for FEs and then did not give gifts. I thought at first it was justconfusion caused by kids stealing things, but apparently at least some of the situations have involved intentional conduct by adults.

I doubt anybody in our little group is planning to do this, and I would give them gifts even if they did (I think we all can agree that it is better to give than receive when it comes to FE gifts). However, I think everybody should try to deter such conduct by labeling FE gifts. I know I bought 100 tie on labels (sort of like really small price tags with a string attached to each) for 99 cents at Walmart and am planning to use those, plus some homemade address labels with our family's name.

I don't care whether my family gets gifts from everybody, but I don't like the fact that some people are taking advantage of others' generosity in this way. If they know they will be caught in the act because gifts are labeled, I doubt they will do it. Just my view, of course.

Also, if somebody has my gifts stolen from their fish extender, as sometimes happens, I personally want to know so I can do something for that family.

I do not mind starting a new FE group if there is no room in this one, but I am not really sure how to do it. I'm not sure where to start.

It is just me, my husband, and my 3 year old daughter. Do you think I could get a few people interested this late in the game? Any advice any of you can give me would be much appreciated.
