I believe the room is a 4E, so it is an upgrade. It apparently has a double-long balcony (extends to the side in front of an area of the ship that isn't accessible to guests). It is also the last cabin before the OL and OC. So, basically everyone with kids staying in the Club or Lab will have plenty of opportunities to visit! Party on my balcony!

FWIW - we will try to upgrade to at least a 4B at port--I was totally spoiled by our last cruise with a family deluxe and I'm not too thrilled with this location. I remember this specific room because the door was so cute (lots of decorations) AND because I passed it about 100 times in 4 days

I dunno that balcony would make me very happy I overlooked that room slightly on our first Dream cruise (I was in a 5D on flr 6)

We are on 2nd floor and 2500 and 2502 408sqft connecting is SAAAAWEEET!!! I am all about the space and connecting cabins with three kiddos!!! We originally booked standard insides to begin with 11a. Also love floor two FWd on other boat so I am super happy!!!! I am ready!!!!! I had wanted 8a rooms but they were gone by the time I booked. I am not a balcony person just yet with my children having their own cabin space and really would have loved the 8A rooms but I am still !!!

My daughter Ashlyn (9) does not have her ears pierced. She wants them pierced but always chickens out at the last moment. Lol. She loves clip on earrings.

Thanks so much for mentioning that about your daughter. I just assumed that young girls would not wear clip ear rings, and I am delighted to hear that she does. This fish exchange stuff is so much fun!

Well, we got our cabin assignments today -- 2504 and 2506. Only 2504 is participating in the fish exchange.

So disappointed -- we booked 9B guaranty rooms and got the worst of the 9B rooms -- farthest from the kid pools and loud due to thrusters, music and nearby crew door.

We seem to be the only guaranty people who were not upgraded AND also received the worst in the category guaranteed. This is my third or fourth Disney cruise, and I am very unhappy, although I know we got the minimum we were promised. I could have lived with a 9B but to have it at the very front of the ship and be loud when we have little kids -- well, very disappointing. To add insult to injury, the VGT rate is cheaper than we paid, although it is cost prohibitive to switch at this point.

Happy for those of you who were upgraded, though!

Googled it. In fairness, some people liked the rooms, but most of the reviews noted that these are classified as noisy rooms (I believe yours, too). One reviewer said she was awakened by the thrusters at 5:30 a.m. on the final day of the cruise. I have stayed in rooms with thruster noise and would never choose those rooms . . . ever.

Yours was an upgrade, though? You got alot more space? And oceanview instead of inside? For the extra space and view, it might be a good thing.

I only have read reviews on the disboards of our rooms and ones similar and all seem fine.. You spoke of crew area or something but that is on other side of boat opposite of us.... Let me know
