Can anyone tell me how big is the Sephora in dtd?

Is it similar to 1 in Hollywood in size ?

Im a makeup artist so Sephora is 1 of the shops im looking most forward to that is nt Disney related, we dont have Sephora in UK anymore :sad2:. Sephora in France & 1 in Orlando is fab so am hoping it ll be similar to them :thumbsup2

I haven't been to another one to compare it with, but I thought it was big, and wow, the prices were so great compared to what we are charged in Australia for beauty supplies that I went a bit silly! I don't think you'll be disappointed with it.

Out of interest, how do the prices compare to those in the UK? I think I paid around US$35 for my Clinique moisturiser which would cost me AU$80 at home (our dollar is at parity with the US currently).

It's fairly big (bigger than most other Sephora locations I've been to), but nowhere near as huge as the one in Hollywood. The one in Hollywood is like a supermarket of cosmetics

OMG, its like a super market :scared1::woohoo:
That sounds like heaven to me:cloud9: , i ll be in there for hours
Not sure my dh is gonna be thrilled at that news ;)
Cant wait to visit both stores to see what goodies i can pick up, especially as many of the brands sold we cant get over here:rolleyes:

Regarding pricing in uk compared to US, its normally slightly cheaper in America. All depends on how the exchange rate is though, when we visited New York back in 2007 we got $2 to £1 so everything was super cheap for us brits in America. Unfortunatly the currency exchange is no where near as good now so the savings are no where near as big
Still i ll no doubt go a little mad in Sephora :yay::woohoo::love::banana:

if anyones got any pics of the Sephora in dtd or Hollywood pleeeeeease post them :thumbsup2

I'm not sure which Sephora you're talking about.. the one closest to Beverly Hills? If so, I would say they are pretty close, which is what I would consider average for a Sephora location (I live in Washington). I don't have any pictures of it but I did find some with a quick Google search. I've never tried to post pictures on here so.. no idea what I'm doing here!

The one at Hollywood and Highland is ridiculously HUGE!!!!!!!! The only compareable one I have been to was in Las Vegas. The one at DTD is above average in size though, and has so much wonderfulness. I love Sephora!

I would say it is the same size as the one in our mall here south of Portland (Washington Square Mall). So I guess it would make it an average size. Def smaller than Hollywood or NYC time square.

Yes...the Sephora at Hollywood & Highland is just like a supermarket of cosmetics! I assumed you'd already been to it since you asked if the one in DTD was of comparable size. The Hollywood Sephora is HUGE!!! Since you're a makeup artist I think it'd be worth a sidetrip to Hollywood to experience it. Besides its massive size, it's different from other Sephora stores in that there are also cool-looking seasonal displays. I remember one from several years ago that was themed to "The Wizard of Oz" and there was a rainbow made entirely of cosmetic glitter :wizard: Unfortunately I've no pictures of it as that was before most cellphones had cameras...but it was a sight to behold! Hollywood & Highland mall (where Sephora Hollywood) is also worth looking at IMO; if you go, do get some tea or coffee and a yummy French pastry at the shop on the 2nd level...I don't remember what it's called, but you'll know it when you see it. The display case is filled with beautiful cakes, eclairs, and fruit desserts. Also, if you're interested, there's a HUGE Victoria's Secret store that carries their entire line plus some designer stuff too.
