my Daughter would love a make over, she wants to know if that store does make overs and if so whats the cost?

Typically a Sephora makeup application (or MAC) is complimentary....but they do expect you to buy something. Some stores have a mandatory $50....some just hint at it. It's actually very easy to drop $50 at either store!

Definately call the number given tho - sometimes appts are necessary & they can give you the lowdown on mandatory purchases & what have you.

Also, check to see if they're having an event at the store while you're there. Makeup companies routinely have their makeup artists go out to local department stores and Sephoras to do complimentary mini makeovers when they want to get the word out about a new product that they just launched.

If you stay at one of the Disneyland Hotels, they have occasional early morning make-overs. It costs something, but they give you product equal to that amount. I know they did this last summer, but I don't remember the details, or if they're still offering this.

Hmm... anyone else have any info for early June? DD and I would love to do this too. She is 13 and just getting into make up.

Hopefully people can give some good feedback here before you go. The main thing for me (because I freelance in makeup), is the artist that is doing your makeup. It is good and all to make an appointment to get your makeup done at Sephora, but some people look kind of scary depending on the Sephora you go to. I get really skeptical receiving advice from makeup artists who have bad makeup on. I'm going to be there this weekend, so I'll stop by and take a look at the artists there.

I second this - when we stayed at GCH, we got a flyer in our room the night before that announced the special early morning tours and activities for hotel guests only. These vary from a makeover at Sephora (there was a maximum number of people allowed to RSVP, so if you want to go through this, be sure to RSVP immediately); to a brisk exercise walk; to a tour of Build A Bear. There were some others, just can't remember them. It varies. They usually include a goody bag from Sephora.
