When we go on our 7 day next year, I will have a 13, 14 (boys) and 15 (very mature, but shy girl) year olds. I noticed on the most recent teen navigators that there are sometimes different activities for 13-14 year olds and at the same time there are activitis for 15-17 year olds. I'm thinking my DD would want to stay with the boys and that the activities they have for this age will be of interest to her.

Will she be allowed to join in the younger activities even though she's 15 1/2?

Thanks!

CRB#33,

Don't quote me on this, but I don't think that would be a big problem. Disney does not seem to mind as much when the slighty older kids want to move down in a lower age group (unless you have a 17yo trying to go with the 13yo:eek: ). I would just talk to the counselors when you have the chance to meet them on the first afternoon and explain the situation to them. They have what is called a 411 on the first evening (make sure she goes to this) and this is where they try to get the kids to meet other kids their age. Maybe someone else on the boards has experienced this and can help you some more.

When are you going on your cruise? We are going March 20, 2004.

Another way to help your DD is to maybe try to hook her up with another girl on the boards that is going on your cruise. I have a shy 13yo girl and she was concerned she would not meet any people to hang out with. On the thread for our cruise I found another family with a DD the same age and after talking to the mom by email we hooked the two girls up through the internet. They talked several weeks before the cruise and were like best buddies on the ship. They still keep in touch by phone or email and my DD's friend is the reason we are going on the cruise we are next year. It's pretty bad when you plan your vacations around your 13yo and her friends.
