If my dad were to wait at the hotel (Beach Club) until I get there, can we go into Epcot together? Of course I'd rather be running at this point...but in case I want to walk a bit can we walk together or are there cones to separate runners and the "others"?

Yes, there are cones, not that he couldn't go right between them, BUT:

-- It's not exactly good "running ettiquette" to have your friends/family/spectators to jump on the course with you

AND

-- You don't go through the International Gateway into Epcot... you actually go backstage and pop out in the UK. I would imagine that Disney Security would rather have an issue with a non-racer getting into the park without using a ticket...

:earsboy:

No, it is against the race policy for a pacer to join a runner on course for safety and security reasons.

He may be able to walk off-course on the other side of the cones but the sidewalk in front of BC is crowded - both spectator and runner. and IN Epcot there are a couple crossings that will prevent him from pacing alongside on the spectator side. Have him meet you at England. Then he can move to the fornt of the park going past Cananda while you move around the course.

I kicked Dad out! I told him there was no way he was going to be there in the morning with us because it was going to be tooo cold!

I told him to get up...get ready and be at the finish line at 10:00. My sister thinks she'll finish at 10:30...me hopefully between 11:00-11:30.
