Separate Ticket Order Thru DU--still link to MDE?

If I purchase tickets through Dreams Unlimited but not part of a package, can I link them to MDE before we go so that I can reserve my FP+ reservations? We made a room only reservation because we have no interest in a dining plan, want the flexibility that it allows for cancellations/changes and would like to buy only 3 tickets and 1 AP (there are 4 of us) to take advantage of any AP discount offer and buy the TIW card. But will I be able to "link" those 3 tickets to MDE ahead of time? I assume that an AP purchased directly from Disney can be linked immediately to our MDE.

Would it be better to simply deal with the package from DU and upgrade 1 ticket to AP when we get there? If the 4 tickets are purchased as part of a package through DU, will I be able to link them ahead of time?

I do not want to purchase the tickets from UT--I want my DU agent to get the commission by buying through Disney.

Yes you can! It shouldn't matter where you get your tickets. I'm a DVC member, so I booked the room separately, and will get my tickets through Expedia. Sometimes it can be tricky to get them linked through My Disney Experience, but a call to Disney should get it resolved for you.

Wow! Thank you for quick (and positive!) reply. So glad to hear. I know it sounds like I'm overthinking this, but there seems to be so many quirks that I thought it was worth asking. For example, who would have thought that a ticket bought as part of a package (yet full price) could be price bridged when upgrading but a ticket bought separately, but nevertheless through Disney, could NOT? So I like to confirm. Thanks!!!
