Separate Ressies???

I currently have a ressie for 12/16-12/20 and am looking to add 3 more nights and the nights are available but CRO is telling me they can not add them to my ressie, that I need to make a separate ressie and pay another deposit.

This is just crazy, it seems to me that they are making us have separate ressies so that they can charge the higher rate for the holiday season instead of the lower rate it is when we originally check-in.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I went throught the same thing last year....its a bit muddled how they run it...and they couldn't even tell me if I would have the same spot for all the days....check that out before making the extra reservation....DJ

Yeah, that's what she said, she could make the separate ressie but we may have to move sites.
I tried to tell her that it just didn't make sense to have two ressies unless I wanted something special, but this was a straight up ressie for a campsite at rack rate. She also tried to tell me that she had to find all of my days not just the days I wanted to add and that all the days were not available so she could not add the 3 days (which were available) to the 4 days I already had (which were now all booked) and the only thing she could do was book another ressie for the 3 days and have me pay another deposit. I told her "no thanks" and got off the phone.

I did call back and asked for Guest Services and they said they didn't know why she told me all that stuff because they saw the additional days I wanted were available and just added them to my current ressie, so now I am okay.

Keep calling... it can be done. As always, it just takes the right CM.

i don't know if it is that some cm's get different training or what. but there are some people that seem to know what they are doing and what they are talking about and then there are others that just seem to have no clue what so ever!

In that case, I always just say " oh no thanks", and hang up and call right back to talk to a different CM. Usually, on the second call i get someone who knows what they are doing.

JIf they cannot make it 1 ressie at least have them link the ressies so that you do not have to change site, we always have 2 ressies when we go, as we start in high season, then stay during low season, you just have to recheck in and get new cards but it is no big deal unless you want to dining plan.

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

I have called back and spoke with guest relations and I have all the days I wanted on one ressie. They said the other girl didn't know what she was doing or she was trying to get a new ressie to up her stats.
