Separate Parties and FP+?

We are traveling to WDW in October This is our first trip since FP+ has been instituted. My family of four has one reservation and my parents have another. Traveling same dates, same hotel, etc. Is there any way I can add them to my MDE account so I can make FP+ arrangements for them and we can (ostensibly) have the same FP? I can make the dining arrangements for 6 people, even though there are really only 4 people "technically" in my party, but I wonder if there is a way to do this with FP+?

I really don't want to toggle back and forth between each account when I try to set up our FP+ rides/times.

Someone will definitely answer this for you better than myself but I had asked a similar question in the past and in short answer- yes. There's a way to connect them. I haven't personally done it yet but many people do and I'm sure someone on here can further explain it for you. You basically have to log into their account send and invite to yours and then connect them... Or something along those lines. Then when you make your FP reservations everyone's will be the same.

Yes, you can add them to your "My Family & Friends" in MDE. If they already have MDE accounts set up they will have to give you permission to make selections/changes for them. If not, you can click on "Invite to Plan and Share" and they will be able to set up a MDE account if they want and see the itenerary and make selections/changes of their own.

You can also easily make dining reservations for your whole group. I made mine for 3 different family groups staying in 4 different rooms - just call or go online and select 6 guests when you search for times. If you're not sure whether you'll eat a particular meal together, make the ADR for the whole group. You can always reduce your group size, but it can be hard to make a reservation for 4 and add people later.
