Separate contracts?

If I buy a contract at AKV for 160 points and close on it and then add a 50 point contract at another DVC resort...let's say VWL, can I still book at 11 months out for either and use my total points? Or how does that work exactly? Do I just have 2 home resorts? And would I have to pay closing costs on both contracts?

An add-on purchased through Disney will not involve closing costs. Any amount of points purchased on the resale market will involve closing costs.

If you have two home resorts, you have the points that you own at each resort for the 11-month window at that resort, only. Your total points can be used for any reservation starting 7 months before your check-in date.
