If you make an ADR as one party, will they break the bill out into separate checks for parties within the group?

Yes they will. I have done this on 2 trips at nearly every meal. Just tell them before you order. I even forgot a couple times to tell them, and they quickly and happily changed it. No big deal. They can even split between DDP and OOP.
